This quest is only given in the troll tongue.

Ratcatcher Zarbt in Big Bend is seeking someone to exterminate some vermin in the sewers (The Thieves' Way). Head down to The Thieves' Way (there is an entrance in Big Bend) and kill five Sewage Rats.

The reward is experience, and not much of each. But if you are already in the area you may as well whack the rats.

This quest is repeatable.

After chatting with the local rat catcher from the Big Bend, I decided to help reduce the local vermin population. There should be plenty of rats around here in Big Bend.

Stage 1

Zarbt the Ratcatcher wants me to help him kill rats in Big Bend.

Start:	I need to kill rats in Big Bend.
Complete:	I have killed the rats.

I've killed the rats Zarbt wanted help with.

Stage 2

Now that I've killed all these rats I should go back to Zarbt.

Start:	I need to speak to Zarbt.
Complete:	I've spoken with Zarbt.

After all that work I got stiffed on the bill... Lesson learned.

Realizing the rodents are merely a byproduct of the city's inhabitants, I now know how futile my efforts were. Not to mention having to shake down that ratcatcher to get next-to-nothing for my efforts.
