Speak to Lagni at -699, 7, 290 in the Tranquil Sea to begin this quest.
- Gather deinodon bone from the tar pits. They're huge shards of bone in the tar, click one.
- Use the table next to Hyggin ( -706, 9, 286 ) to make the knife
- Speak to the Kilwren at -627, 35, 144
- Kill and skin an aged deinodon: this is any deino with "aged" in its name (ie "an aged apatodon"). Click its corpse to skin it.
- Return to Lagni to complete the quest
