Yesterday, went with a long time EQ friend and his wife to Icefall Glacier(70 ranger, me 72 ranger, and a 73 Chanter) ... Uff.. Without lev, you keep on sliding...
In the Goblin camp, we almost wiped, trying to free some shackled giant... My friends wife ranger fd'ed, hehe...
But the bears in the cave, although red, stood no chance... Went down too fast to even dot them, hehe...
With lessons I made about 30 AAs, and half a level from 72 to 73...
Relaxed session though all in all...loved it 😊
Today went with my 47 (now 48),monk and his tank merc to skyfire mountains... 1 hour, 1 lvl, and a few pp more...
Now, on the roof garden of our house. Having a rum and smoking a cigar and thinking of all the hours I played in Aude Sapere on Povar...

Better late than never. These last few weeks in isolation would have been impossible without EQ. I have managed to do all the things I have been putting off "until I have more time". It has passed the time beautifully.
The last week or so, I decided to get the Fabled Shield of the Water Dragon. I completed this for all my lower level chars that can use it on several servers EXCEPT FV. One person has been camped on the spawn point 24/7 for the last 2 weeks that I have checked. The character names always there are "Bonus" and "Boycott". There is an anonymous char there often as well. This P's me off to no end. I NEVER, EVER camp like this. I consider it one of the worst examples of sheer greed that one can do.
On the servers where I have obtained the drop, I log in, check if Faydedar is up, kill it if it is, or log until the next day. I am never in the zone for more than a few minutes either way. This allows others to do the same. I also check the zone and if there are others there I ask if they are after Faydedar and as they were in the zone before me, the mob is theirs.
Rant over, I hope everyone here and all their relatives and friends are in good health and COVID-19 free!!

So lately I've gotten way back into EverQuest. Can't remember or recover my old forum login, so I figured I would just start fresh. Nobody needs to see my post history from over a decade ago when I was an edgy teen.
I picked back up on Mangler before the COVID crisis, but haven't had a connection worth a damn in a couple of weeks, so my raiding fell off. Shame, I was having fun. Started playing pretty seriously on Cazic-Thule. Got a handful of toons there, including a few heroics, and a bard with which I'm trying to clear all achievements. Only 52, but I managed to get Naggy and Vox taken care of, so I can get back to leveling. Also finished my bard 1.0
Friend decided he wants to start playing on Mangler again, so I ended up spending some coin to twink a beastlord. My guild needs a raiding beastlord, and it'll be -way- easier to manage a ****** phone hotspot connection during a raid with a beastlord as opposed to a bard... /melody doesn't even work properly half the time right now =(
So anyways, I'm planning on keeping up my bard on Cazic, my beastlord on Mangler, and I'm probably going to roll something when Aradune drops, but haven't figured out yet. Ramble ramble ramble...
I'm not one of the ones who has it perma-camped no FV, but I do have one or two on Brekt and can toss you one after the merger happens.

Thank you for the very kind offer, but I respectfully decline. You can sell it in the bazaar for upwards of 2M PP. On FV you WILL need the pp. Greediest people in EQ reside on this server, with some notable exceptions of those regular FV players who reside here.
I mostly solo on FV and ignore the bazaar. That's a rationalization for "I can't afford it anyways".
Trust me, I know how much I can sell it on FV for, I think I've already sold 2 or 3 of them ;p
I don't actively play on FV. Unfortunate, because a decade ago I transferred alllllll of my characters there, thinking it would be the place I wanted to play. It was not.
In any case, the offer still stands. I've got a pretty good racket going and, while 2mpp is nice because it's (most of) a krono, I prefer that other people enjoy their play
