What this means is you must use the item when the mob is below 30% health. It casts fairly quickly and kills the mob, so being close isn't too much of a danger

Hraen Vutha wants me to travel to the Seeping Ruins that are north of Kunzar's Edge. Once there, he wants me to mortally wound a ravenous leech and use the thermascope on it, which should bring forth baby leeches. He wants me to gather a single baby leech and bring it back to him.

Stage 1

I need a young leech.

Start:	I need a young leech from the ravenous leeches in the Seeping Ruins.
Complete:	I have obtained a young leech.

Complete:	I have given the leech to Hraen Vutha.

Hraen Vutha wants you to travel to the Seeping Ruins, north of Kunzar's Edge, mortally wound a ravenous leech, and use the Thermascope on it. This should bring forth baby leeches. Gather a single baby leech and take it back to Hraen.

The Thermascope has a 2 minute cooldown so get it right the first time! Hit the mob, no DOTs, smack it until the scope's button lights up (30% or less), then click it! The 'scope will kill the worm, leaving several baby worms under the corpse. They fade fast and are small. You only have to pick up one of them.
