This is one of several quests given by Mashara Tiogran (evil) or Tarin Varinblade (good) in the Feerrott. It is given after you complete the Feerrott Who's Who (Good) or Test Subjects (Evil) quest.

This quest asks you to collect the essence of a raised specter in the Cove. This instanced zone is accessed from the same location as the Trembling Lagoon in the Feerrott for good players and at a rock near the jboots NPC for evil characters.

Once inside you must kill the Spectre of the Feerrott. He spawns through a ring event that is intiated by clearing all of the skeletons that are worshipping at the Altar. Eventually the Spectre of the Feerrott will spawn. Kill him.

After doing this return to Mashara or Tarin for your reward.

I have been enlisted to find the stronghold, destroy an undead army and capture the essence of a raised spectre.

Stage 1

I need to find the entrance to the stronghold, kill the undead army and bring back the essence of a raised spectre.

Start:	I need to collect essence from a raised spectre.
Complete:	I have collected the raised spectre spirit essence.

I have found the entrance to the stronghold, killed the undead army and have the essence of a raised spectre.

Stage 2

I need to return to camp and show proof of what I have done.

Start:	I should return to camp and show the proof of what I have done.
Complete:	I have returned with the spectre essence to show that I have destroyed the spirit.

I have returned to camp with the spectre essence.

I have found the stronghold, destroyed the undead army and captured the essence of a raised spectre.

The entrance to this zone called Cleansing of the Cove is the same as The Trembling Lagoon, /waypoint -899.89, -9.13, 339.27
It is north of The Obelisk of Lost Souls. The NPC in front of it is Taryn D'Vat <Circle of Unseen Hands>.
Take the Horse to Tower of Vul Station, Then go NW to the wall and you will see it.

When you find the alter there are 3 acolytes worshipping there, but they are not attackable. Kill all the skeletons in the area and go back and you will find one is now aggro. Kill it and the spectre will appear on the alter but you can't kill him yet. Another acolyte will also now be aggro so kill this, doing the same with the 3rd and final acolyte. Finally the spectre will turn into the spectre of the feerrott and you can kill it. He dropped a chest containing longsword of undead vengeance and he had a vial of spectral essence on his body. Now you can go turn the quest in. Soloed this as a level 49 beserker with ease.
