On completing this quest he will give the quest 'Insectsurrection' - shows as L67 in quest journal.

Cull the Ravasect population - kill 8 each of defenders, screamers, stalkers

For 1000 drednever faction and your choice of various weapons with a ravasect-specific proc. 'Fetidthorn Infusion' appears to do 21-25 magic damage on every successful hit - if target is Ravasect.

Dabner Drednever, Captain of the Drednever Expedition wants you to gather some Fetidthorn spores. The spores are used by the gnomes as a deterrent against the ravasect: huge bug-like creatures native to the realm, and with a notable predilection for the taste of gnome.

Stage 1

Fetidthorn plants are a spiky bramble-like growth found all over the isle. The spores look like small pink buds and are generally found at the base of the taller stems.

Complete:	I gathered some Fetidthorn spores.

I have gathered all the Fetidthorn spores.

Stage 2

Dabner Drednever is awaiting the Fetidthorn spores at the main crash site encampment.

Start:	Return with the Fetidthorn spores.
Complete:	Returned with the Fetidthorn spores.

I have returned to Dabner Drednever with the Fetidthorn Spores.

I gathered all the Fetidthorn spores for Captain Dabner Drednever and returned to his camp with them.

This quest is given by Captain Dabner Drednever at the Drednever Crash Site in the Bonemire ( -10, 43.6, 522 ).

He asks you to gather 16 Fetidthorn Spores. These are ground spawns in The Bonemire.

The reward is coin and experience. This also opens up the Insectsurrection quest.
