 Samirah's mirror Qadira's Bangle Tidal Lord |
This quest is given by Qadira the Naga at The Shimmering Citadel entrance 884, -177, -1595 after you complete The Name of My Forefathers quest. It is the access quest for the Shimmering Citadel.
You must kill 10 a Djinn Pillar Sentinels to find the mirror for her. These are found on the Djinn in the southwest portion of the zone 1500, -150, -100 .
After this return to her and she informs you that she will grant you access to the Shimmering Citadel if you kill Samirah, Lady Naga for her. Samirah is found in one of the nearby caves on the same island as Qadira 1101, -173, -1693 . Kill her and return to Qadira for your reward and to gain access to the Shimmering Citadel

A usefull information : the servant is not needed for the Lady Naga quest. So you can keep this one mezzed or rooted away while you deal with Samirah.

This quest was easily soloable at 67. Just make sure you pull the GREEN mobs first.

This is not soloable and anyone who says so is crazy. You have to have a group to do this....you have to take down the lvl 59 heroic first. Then take on Samirah who is that lvl 52 triple arrow up heroic with two lvl 52 double arrow up adds.
If doing this I suggest a good group with solid dps and a healer cause you will need it. Only soloable by high level players who are lvl 70. If doing this solo below lvl 62 good luck cause at lvl 60 necro this is no way I can solo this. I tried and I died even tho I followed previous advice given on how to combat this mob.

I soloed this on my second try the other day as a 52 Coercer with a djinn pillar sweeper pet (first try used a windsister dustfeather). If you stay in the very back of the cave, the sister seers/soldiers at the entrance are far enough away that they won't link with Samirah and are out of 10m PBAoE spell range. The biggest problem I had was her power drain; I was a second late remezzing her on my first try while helping my pet take down her servant and got totally drained from two abilities. She doesn't appear to have any high-damage specials, just the power drains and normal Warlock spells.

Besides the two reqards listed, she also offers Qadira's Bangle (+10 agi, +10 sta, +468 vs divine, +624 vs heat, +52 vs crushing, +52 vs piercing, +52 vs slashing).

Just in case this wasn't difficult enough!! Now, if you try Adyinea's approach of letting the seers and soldiers drop, the flame fiends then become aggro as soon as you attack Samirah or her servant. We were doing ok, one of us was on the servant, one on Samirah, when I was hit for 1500 pts!

Definitely soloable - did it tonight (58 Conjuror). Granted, people say having my pet isn't truly soloing - but I had 2 seers, 2 sisters, Samirah and Samirah's servant to contend with. It took a few tries - opting to exercise the "better part of valor" but I was eventually able to do what needed to be done.

You can easily pull the level 52^^^ heroic at the end of this by itself.
To pull the named without the other two, use any offensive art or a ranged attack to tag her or the servent, and then run out along the west wall of the island. eventually you will see the seer's drop (A naurem sister seer is no longer worth xp), at which point you have the named solo.
If you have a root, it is probably no big deal to root her and use standard solo tactics to take her down.
If you don't have a snare or a root effect, it is unlikely you can solo her, you'll need to duo with someone.

I just soloed this as a 59 bruiser. Only hard part was the two lvl 59^^ grouped mobs that you need to go through to get to Samirah. Once one of them was out of the way the rest was easy, took a couple of tries with the two 59's though.
Makes it more fun to solo something when some one says it cant be done til the lvl 70 cap, hah.

lvl 58 berz and fury duo'd this easily... our faction with the naga is amiable, so it might help if none of the mobs are KOS :)

I just duoed her. I'm a 57 Pally and I fought with a 58 conjourer. I just pulled her out and ran until guards stopped chasing. She chases a little farther since she was engaged. conj sicked pet and I turned around and fought. Healing and warding myself from her dot. Conj had full health and 70% power left, pet died and I was at 50% health and 20% power. Not to tough.

Here's an idea. List the quest as Heroic cause there is no way to solo the last part until they raise the level cap to 70.

I have done last part(killing Samirah) with a 52 healer. Level 58 soldiers and Samirah have not been linked. So kill 58 soldiers first.

If you fly to Giants Field in PoF, slightly to the south of where you get off the carpet, there will be a wall where you can climb down. Go there and you will find Djinn, some of which are Pillar Sentinels.

I'm having trouble finding the djinn for the djinn pillar sentinels. Anyone have a better location than "the southwest portion of the zone"?

I completed this quest as a 60 Fury. I solo'd all of the quest except for the last part where you have to kill Samirah. I didn't try to solo her, just happened to run into a group of three that were killing her also. She went down fast. ;) This quest is extremely easy.

Duoed the encounter with a 56 Templar, I am a 56 Guardian. Pulled the guards outside the cave, killed them and then pulled her, killing her first and her little friend last. Not easy but duoable

Did it with 3 people: a lvl 53 paladin, lvl 56 warden and a lvl 54 wizzy. Root the 2 ^^ naga's in there and pull Samirah outside. Piece of cake when you do it that way. :)

Well they changed the faction on the island and unless you have some 55+ friends to kill the snakes in her cave, you cant finish it. 2 59^^ ones that add when you pull her. Killed my full group of 50-54 in seconds. Plus after they were finshed with us they killed her as an insult.

We took her out with a group or 5. 52 warden, 51 fury , 50 templar, 51 ranger and a 50 paladin. We were only able to take out lady naga. We focused on her to at least get quest credit. She has a poison based D.O.T. that is a power drain of what appeared to be 200 per tick. If she dots your tank it is wise to cure his noxious quickly because if his mana pool depletes, so does his aggro control. Also.... we were able to pull over the top of the other lvl 58 heroics guarding her cave with the fury's ranged attack spells.

Samirah is insta-pop if you have the quest. I tried it invis just to see what would happen. Two big 59^^ naga outside her cave (not grouped with her), and she has a pet snake called Servant of Samirah, that was 52^^ heroic. Samirah herself is 52^^^ heroic.

Samirah is immune to treasured and lower weapons. You must use Legendary or Fabled.

I've helped Qadira the Naga, as well as myself.I've done what Qadira requested and in the process, made her the Lady Naga. Qadira told me the secret of gaining entrance into the Shimmering Citadel, the home of the majority of the area's djinn. I'm curious to see it for myself.
