You must search the camspite remains that are scattered throughout the Forest Ruins until you find a page with scribbled gnollish. Return this to Elvic.

NOTE: You may also find other items, such as a fungus engulfed doll and a cracked mug. These are completely worthless and should be deleted.

He will then ask you to speak to Acting Lieutenant Germain (+900, -576) which leads into the News for Germain quest.

Elvic Garrett has asked that I help the Qeynos Guard. They have been trying to get more information about the Forest Ruins. Elvic says that a number of temporary campsites have been spotted around the area. He has asked that I inspect these camps and see if I can discover who has been setting them up.

Stage 1

Elvic has asked that I investigate some of the abandoned campsites that have been seen all around the Forest Ruins.

Start:	I should inspect campsites around the ruins until I find something to indicate who made them.
Complete:	In one of the camps I found a note.

Start:	I need to take this note to Elvic Garrett.
Complete:	I have given the note to Elvic Garrett.

Start:	I need to tell Lieutenant Germain about the gnollish note.
Complete:	I have spoken with Lieutenant Germain.

I found a gnollish book in one of the camps. As Elvic asked, I have brought news of this to Lieutenant Germain.

I found a gnollish book at one of the abandoned campsites. Lieutenant Germain was very concerned at the possibility of a gnollish presence in the Forest Ruins.
