The Royal Antonican Guard has requested assistance in tracking down a mystery for the Tunarian Alliance. They have noticed my efforts within the city and believe that I may be able to assist with this matter. I am to begin my search with the wolves and bears along the eastern mountains in Antonica. I will progress from there after searching for clues.
Stage 1
Search for anything strange about the giant bears and wolves against the hills cutting between Antonica and the Thundering Steppes.
Start: | Search the bears and wolves in Antonica for clues. |
---|
Complete: | A strange collar adorned one of the beasts. Perhaps further inspection will yield clues. |
---|
After being attacked by a few of the bears and wolves, I managed to find a strange collar that was irritating the beast.Stage 2
Perhaps inspecting the collar will yield additional clues to track down whomever is responsible for the increased animal attacks.
Start: | Inspect the collar. It may possess a clue about the item's manufacture. |
---|
Complete: | The ancient druidic markings suggest the influence of an ancient order of druids. |
---|
Inspecting the collar yielded at least a small clue... the ancient druidic writings on the inside of the band.Stage 3
The smell of the collar is no accident. Ancient legends tell of a small druidic grove which sunk in the Thundering Steppes.
Start: | Seek out the sunken forest in the Thundering Steppes. Should legend hold true, it will be in the southwest portion of the Steppes. |
---|
Complete: | The druid has been found. He seems to be meditating outside the grove of trees. |
---|
Finding the druid responsible for this does not seem to be the problem. He apparently hasn't taken much care to hide himself.Stage 4
The unkempt druid appears to be peaceful, but without a doubt, he is the cause of the trouble with the increased animal attacks in Antonica.
Start: | Slay the druid before he can cause further trouble. |
---|
Complete: | The druid has been slain, but he has taken his secrets with him to the grave. |
---|
The druid has been slain, though the search led me far from the mountains where the attacks were taking place. The druid has been slain, though the search led me far from the mountains where the attacks were taking place. There may be more to this mystery, though I suppose that all can only be revealed in time. The Royal Antonican Guard seems to be very pleased with my progress.
