For the Conqueror of The Dreadlands achievement, do you need to kill the natural spawn of Gorenaire as I found out the forced spawn did not register the achievement?
Been checking Gorenaire spawn for achievements every day past 2 weeks, only the harbinger has been up. Am i missing her spawn or does Harbinger prevent her from spawning?
- Respawn is roughly 18-20 minutes from the last time it was triggered. - Will not spawn if Gorenaire normal version is up - Will spawn 18-20 minutes after Gorenaire dies - Spawns Gorenaire only if a Bard or a Paladin hails and says the trigger text - Spawned Gorenaire has 32K health, as originally - Spawned Gorenaire does not have Mitigation of the Mighty, as originally - Only drops one, no trade item based on who hails (Book for Paladin, Scale for Bard) - Presumably, Spawned Gorenaire does not gain stacks of Mark of the Old Ways depending on pet numbers
Loc of -400 1065 was right but directions a lil hazy. If you look at the map and go pretty much straight west from the southern most point of the giant fort you'll be in the right area. Hes about halfway from the bottom of the map to the tunnels that lead to the spires.
I ran across it today with my druid, hailed got the regular text response (without trigger text) Said magic words "Prepared to face Gornaire" and got 'Gorenaire, guardian of the Ring of Scale, is not here. Perhaps she will return. But not for you"
Brought baby pally out and said 'Prepared to face Groenaire' She immediately spawned and ate baby pally then turned on my druid. killed and she dropped only the torn frost covered book. This leads me to believe that only the quest items will drop or possibly some minor tradeskill stuff but not regular loot table items. I'm also going to guess that there is a respawn timer on 'Harbringer of frost/flame' of 12 hours ish like the undead bard and VSR
I located it at -392.15, 5079.58, 1063.36 on the western wall, near the tunnel, but it does move.
When hailed, replies with "a harbinger of frost snorts derisively. emitting a puff of writhing frost from it's flaring nostrils. 'Gorenaire, guardian of the Ring of Scale, is not here. Perhaps she will return.'"
