Uploaded July 24th, 2007
He now Summons, Perma Rooted, and hits for 100dmg.
Travis is the representative of the League of Antonican Bards in Nektulos forest. He does not have a particularily long life expectancy, as many Dark Elves take great joy in the squishy sounds that bards make when they're dying.
For light races, or the truly enterprising dark one, he is part of a large quest involving all Bard guilds in Antonica.

Apparently on the Ragefire server, he now is perma rooted, summons, and also hits for 100dmg x3 now. Thanks DB!!
As the quest states he is at -1963.67, -268.26, 12.55 (the lower right hand corner of the map- the very bottom of the map).

killed him he uses no spell that i know of, nice to have a low lvl that gives ROS faction
He's as weak as any other NPC bard. Someone of an equal level to him, with their fighting and defensive skills maxed, can take him down with ease.
My 25MNK took him down without losing more than 20% of his HP (I was below 80% when he died, but I'd also taken dmg from upsetting four guards a few minutes before).

I have lvl 5 wizzy on Stromm hoping to get him up enough to kill this guy. Can he take em out at lvl 20 by rooting then nuking?

[i] currently spending time killing him with my level 22 magician Dark Elf. I use my Earth pet with burnout and the Fire Shield. Send in my pet and let him tag him for a short time before I begin casting my level 20 DD spell . Currently he cons Red and Dubious to me... I have killed him about 12 times with one mishap, and that is only because I changed pets. Okay EXP but my pet takes most the xp cause hes tanking him My DD spell does 150 every cast . about six casts of 150 from me the rest is pet done.

This guy is a good person to camp between 30 and 35 (always cons Dark blue). No fear of adds...just you and him. So far its Pat 11: Travis 1.

All i seen about a quest is the "Going Postal" quest.

Kill him at 33 with my shammy. TOO EASY!
I nucked him twice for 350+ each time as my 35 pet attacked him. He seems to just over 700 hp's but I did get xp when he died.
as a level 23 necro almost 24 thanks to travis he is very easy to take down. i have killed him about 20 timews now always con's yellow to me.

Yous people are funny. Bards no fight. Me was once little ogre, now BIG OGRE but that no matter still squishy bard. Bard for eating muhbe sitting on. . . BUT THAT ALL!

I use no pet and my troll sk is now level 30 and he does little if no damage to me and i never even darken nor use boil blood...no need to and I am not twinked..I am still looking for something better than a 5ac headpiece forinstance!..I just use scream of hate...thats it and put up vampiric embrace...which life taps him automaticaly..the same goes for two of his fellow bards... one in innothule swamp...named Dark deathsinger...and the other in feerot a female(and she seems a bit harder) Drizda Songsinger....LOL they are so fun to kill especially drizda cause of her screams.. if u time it right u can run from feerot to the swamp and back and yes dark spawns about 20 min apart and drizda is about 22 min...been killing them all with ease since level 24. and the loot? I have gotten 3 copper to 3 and a half plat...usually i get a few silver or gold or even a plat tho it varies....they also drop a rune or words or human blood on occasion.and yes they still con dark blue to a 30 sk

This guy is a punk, very easy. I am a 22 Necro, I have been Kiting him since 21. Sure, I get resisted, but cast another time and it sticks. Cons red of course, I get one bub of blue every kill. Why zone? Put up harmsheild in the begining of the fight and then once pet dies or low on mana, jut feign death until you cannot see him, then go back med and try again. My 31 SK was wandering by Nektulous in boredom, one of those auctioning days in EC.
I had to grab some food and drinnk at Neriak (only place around when I can buy some, been a bad boy) and I met Travis...
I rememberer when I was a newbie DE necro and this guy made me scared... now I was a shadowknight and much more experienced player and he was conning blue.
I landed darkness and blood boil on him and ran to zone (who knows sometimes NPCs are so hard) but when he finaly showed up at zone, I laughed big time cause he was already half of his HP bar !
After I drained is atk str and ac, he was just hitting for like 3, sometimes 15.
I killed him like 4 times but quitted doing so when I thought I had troubles already in a lot of cities and didn't want to pull a train of bards everytime I cross a city zone...

This guy is so weak, He may hit multiple time but never for a good amount, he gets his occasional 50 hit in but not very often. I have killed him 4 times so far, I just keep doing it to raise my exp,

Posted: Feb 14 2002 at 6:33 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This guy would be like Nagafen to lvl 7's, it would take multiple groups of tanks, plus a group of clerics, and a group of mages to take him out. The reason being is that this guy can hit multiple times, though most of the time not for much damage. A normal tank could take two hits before dying, and with all the fighters fighting him you might have a chance of getting halfway before being squashed. The clerics would be healing as fast as possible, trying to kkeep all the fighters alive for at least two more seconds, and the mages would all hit him with spells, causing maybe a sliver's worth of damage. If you get lucky, you kill him. But much unlike Nagafen, you only get like 2pp off him, and nothing much else, so why go through all the trouble you ask?

he wasnt trying to kill them he was saying to a level "7" he would be like nagafen ... of course he would!! lol this is for the first guy... hes level 25 lol thats 18 levels higher why dont you kill spiders and skellies and such and leave this guy to the semi big boys. a level 21-24 sk can solo him lol hes a wuss because verant doesnt make their bards use spells often lol and they suck at attacking everyone needs to stop bashing him hes doing the best he can do to protect the world from...non music..(jk) i am camping him right now and i am level 24 and i expect him to take me to 30 because at thirty he still cons dark blue hehehe death to all bards!!!!

im pretty sure thats just because pallies suck or you do because you said you were twnked and umm an sk is soloing him at 21 (me) to 24 (me) and im going all the way to 30 and im no where near twinked im wearing a round shield and bronze cloak lol and he hits once in a blue moon for 50 either you just suck or your lay on hands wasnt up (or itys the fact that pallies suck at soloing and are meant to group)

Pallies do not suck... I am a lvl 25 pally ULTRA TWINK (I'm not kidding, DW everywhere except BP and Greaves, Ro for those, and Velium Jewelry everywhere else), and I bet I could solo him easy... If I didn't wanna ruin faction with Humans, haha. Or it could be I'm a big wuss who doesn't know how to raise faction. Nah, that can't be it.

/shout yes thats the way to kill him iim 24 non twink and ive been soloing him since 21 and hes a ***** but back then i had to use my spells now i can tank him with my debuffs and win

I killed this guy the other day, and he hits like a wuss, 1-48 dmg is the most he hit me for, whiffed most of the time. i have a slow attack and no haste so attacking this loser is slow work, he has about 500-700hp, and if u really want to lose faction with humans and the ppl in the commons, by all means, kill him! he quest is only good for n00bs (and it SUCKS) so i thought it was high time to dust this guy after being to the lake of ill omen. at 26 i soloed his buttox for little or no work and had half my hp left.

The Bard called Two-Tone was assassinated two days ago. T'is believed that one known as the Bloodcaller is responsible. If any see this level 30 rogue, please attempt to re-aquire the experience he gained for the bards death. It is known thru various sources that he gained half a blue sphere.
