Tortugone's Shell Spike

I've killed him/her several times in the past. This time when swallowed, and usually I'm not, I was unable to attack Tortugone's gullet. You can't hit them from here. changed to goblin illusion and shrank--same info.

TOTALLY freaked me out when I found myself in his belly! lol Next time I come across a named..I'm gonna read up on it. I, too, laughed my *** off! I was like...holy sh&** ...I think I'm in his belly!! I just gated out since the other party was dead. lol way too funny!
i tried killing him and im inside his stomach.. lol wtf?

This lovely guy DOES indeed summon! He also hit me for... um... 4117 max, then again I'm a silkie with barely 2.2k AC.

soloed this guy today with my 80 monk, what a blast he hit me for up to 2500 but hits were few and far between. fight lasted long enough for me to use impen. disc twice, as well as 2 heal potion xiii. All total i counted 3 times being swallowed lol on the 3rd trip inside i popped my endo disc sat and waited 2 tics for it to fire, then killed gullet for the 3rd time. he regens quite a bit while your in his tummy when solo as any mob with no agro tends to :p I looted me a shell spike and figured i would look it up on alla. monk had tem rk1 and shm buffs. was at 17% life when fight ended :P

What no one has mentioned is that Tortugone drops a handful of "Tortugone's Shell Spike"s (dropped 3 for our group).

YOu can also get COthed out fo the turtle if you get swallowed . Lauravon our cleric found out the hard way the first day it went live , couldnt stand up to cast anything so we had a Mag from the guild come and cothe Her out.

downed him with 6. group was war, monk, 2 clr, mage, chanter. he dropped a no drop quest item called tortugone's spike. no clue what it's purpose.

As Floowid said ... when you get swallowed you end up in his belleh and have to kill "Tortugone's Gullet" to get spat back out.
At least 2 people at a time can be swallowed ... and yeah, that's bad news for your cleric since he/she will probably get aggro once the second melee goes in.
Still ... if you have 2 or 3 peeps that can take a couple of hits, the gullet doesn't take long to kill.

Fought this guy with a 4 person group and got eaten. Literally! This big turtle swallowed me and my beastlord buddy and we ended up in his belly. After laughing my *** off for a few minutes, we figured out that we can target his gullet and attack - when it hit 0%, we popped back out and the Tortugone was still there, but we were no longer on his hatelist [Shammy and Cleric were dead though :( ]. We came back again, but with a real tank this time - killed him no problem (70 Shammy, 70 Cleric, 71 Ranger, 71 Beast, 70 Warrior) - dropped a Shell Spike for the hunter quest in zone, a Turepta meat, and something else . . .
