we killed him two days ago - no lewt.
were raiding a bit in SS but nothing from him, how rare are the drops from the seer pls ?

This beast also drops one of the coolest helms in the game: Square Helm. 12ac, 6wis, 3str, all/all, silver plate look. Great druid item, but fun to wear for any other classes that don't usually get to wear plate helms. Not as cool as a customized cowl of morality, which sells for a lot more, but because of it being all/all and having 6wis and the ac, this item sells for 10-20k on my server (solusek ro), because druids all want one. It seems to be one of the rarer drops though.

Olthmir Fur Cap has 6 wis and is all/all... it also has tons of other stats and good AC. It is made by tailors with othmir fur... so I dont understand how Square Helm could go for 10-20k unless you are BSing
A lot can happen between Oct 01 and May 02 to change tailoring skills and recipies.
On the seventh I saw a square helm go for 100k, because of the Focus Effect on it and the fact that it is plate. I dunno, everyone wants a plate helm.

First get everyone buffed up with Cleric/Shaman buffs, dead man floating, poison and magic buffs. You dont need junk bffs becaus he doesnt dispell.
Once everyone is buffed there is a corner around past the room where u put everyone. Harmony the adds in the room, pull with a NECRO (yes, thats right, a necro). Necro casts a lifetap or any DD really. Once the Seer makes his way clear from the rest of the mobs, the necro feign deaths, and the main tank pulls back.
As the Main Tank pulls the seer back (rogues sitting in the corner around cubby) you push him into the corner. At the end of the fight he will start to gate, and you will need to ghetto bash his ***. If he doesnt gate its much easier, if he gates... prepare for multiples.
He casts single target slows, AE poison dots, AE poison rain, and of course gate.

He dropped some mask yesterday nite. Nuttin extra, like 4 ints and some other. Cannot remember :)

He drops the skyfury scimitar but its a super rare drop! I'm the one in my group who won the roll and its okay.

Killed this Mobs around 15 times .. NO drop as of yet ...

We took him out 2 nights ago. 60 Cleric /w epic, 59 Druid /w epic, 57 Shaman /w epic,60 Rogue /w epic, 58 Enchanter, and me, 58 Warrior. Took about 10-15 minutes to kill, he has a ton of hps...I am guessing 32k-50k hitpoints. He CAN be taken with one group, Harmony pull his room. He casts a slow with a weird name, isn't too bad.
I am interested to know what all drops that Skyfury Scimitar, if anyone knows if its JUST the Seer or if it drops off anything else please let me know...also anyone know what it looks like? :)

Took this bad boy on last weekend, had 4 groups of 52-60's. He seemed to slow people one-at-a-time, not AE. That's just what we seemed to observe...

hehe, last event we took it down with 2 group and only 1 cleric =P it hit 310 and will cast gate when its low on hps.. was a really hard fight we got a few death to take it down... and lol.. it dropped a diamond for us =P *sigh*

When Glorious Rising took the seer he dropped a Brightwood Spear, which I believe is also found on other creatures in the zone, and for a lot less trouble!
By the way, Brightwood Spear looks so darn cool with me holdin it!

He dropped 3pp on our raid last night. I think its ridiculous for a lvl 63 mob to drop nothing. Where's the risk vs reward? He was a hell of a challenge for 2 groups lvls 52 to 58, and we got nada...

Strange, on our raid of skyshrine last weekend he only dropped a jasper(thats right, the stackable, normal component kind) anyhow he is a shaman, hits for the low 300s, and has an AoE Tigur's insects(low resistability too), he will gate close to the end of the fight.
