You say, 'Hail, Sralm Noramir'

Sralm Noramir pounces at you, grabbing you by your throat. 'What are you doing here? Who sent you?'

You say, 'No one sent me'

A gleam shines in Sralm's eyes. 'I hope you are not here to free a prisoner. The Tribunal punishes such actions harshly. Once here there is no hope of escape. Even for one such as I.'

You say, 'Who are you?'

Sralm Noramir says 'Ahh, how rude of me. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Sralm Noramir, warrior by birth thief by choice.'

You say, 'You? A thief?'

Sralm Noramir says 'Aye, I could steal the sword from a warriors hands or a kiss from a ladys lips. Ever hear of Emperor Sllanar?'

You say, 'I have never heard of this Emperor Sllanar'

Sralm Noramir says 'You see, generally thieves were imprisoned, or at worst executed, but banishment here was usually reserved to those that committed heinous crimes. I guess you should be careful when you rob the person who gets to decide on the definition of heinous. Have you any news of Sebilis?'

You say, 'Sebilis was destroyed by Trakanon'

Sralm Noramir says 'What in the name of Thule is a Trakanon?'

You say, 'Not what, but who. Trakanon is an undead dragon and savior of the Trolls'

Sralm Noramir says 'A dragon in Sebilis! Stop your foul lies, your humor does not suit my tastes.'

The script appears to have changed a bit - with [prompts] added. However I couldn't get the final lines to work the same, nor to continue:

Quote:
You say, 'Hail, Sralm Noramir'

Sralm Noramir pounces at you, grabbing you by your throat. 'What are you doing here? Who sent you?'

You say, 'No one sent me'

A gleam shines in Sralm's eyes. 'I hope you are not here to free a prisoner. The Tribunal punishes such actions harshly. Once here, there is no hope of escape. Even for one [such as I].'

You say, 'such as I'

Sralm Noramir says, 'Ahh, how rude of me. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Sralm Noramir, warrior by birth, [thief] by choice.'

You say, 'thief'

Sralm Noramir says, 'Aye, I could steal the sword from a warrior's hands or a kiss from a lady's lips. Ever hear of [Emperor Sllanar]?'

You say, 'Emperor Sllanar'

Sralm Noramir says, 'He was the ruler of Sebilis, for a short time. It does not surprise me that you have not heard of him. His rule was not long, and he did little good or bad for the iksar. He was, however, quite [wealthy].'

You say, 'wealthy'

Sralm Noramir grins. 'Quite wealthy, indeed. More money than you could ever imagine, but it was just as much as I could imagine. I felt that the good Emperor had more wealth than he could possibly ever spend, so I thought it was my duty to [relieve] him of some of the excess.'

You say, 'relieve'

Sralm Noramir says, 'Yes, and quite a job it was. He kept all of his accumulated wealth in caves deep below the city. Though they were well guarded, it was nothing for one such as myself. I will not bore you with details, but the short of it is I made off with a king's ransom... Literally. Unfortunately, I was [caught].'

You say, 'caught'

Sralm Noramir sighs, 'It seems the good Emperor was quite paranoid, and took precautions against this contingency. All of his wealth was enchanted by a tracking spell. It was silly of me not to look for it. Stealing was a minor crime in Sebilis, but stealing from the [Emperor] was another issue all its own.'

You say, 'Emperor'

Sralm Noramir says, 'You see, generally thieves were imprisoned, or at worst executed, but banishment here was usually reserved to those who committed heinous crimes. I guess you should be careful when you rob the person who gets to decide on the definition of heinous. Have you any news of [Sebilis]?'

You say, 'Sebilis'

Sralm Noramir says, 'Sebilis is the city of the Iksar. The greatest city on all of Kunark, and was my home at one time. I guess no news is good news.'

You say, 'Sebilis was destroyed by Trakanon'

Sralm Noramir says, 'Sebilis is the city of the Iksar. The greatest city on all of Kunark, and was my home at one time. I guess no news is good news.'

You say, 'Not what, but who. Trakanon is an undead dragon and savior of the Trolls'

Sralm Noramir says, 'A dragon in Sebilis! Stop your foul lies. Your humor does not suit my tastes.'

If you ask 'Who is Emperor Sllanar' I think he responds about 'That is a silly question Badknews.. for you are.'

Specifically the string he responds to is "who is" to which he replies "Well assuming the question is as silly as it sounds, you are %t". (Where %t is your character's name)

It suggests there's another piece of dialog during which you're lead to ask a question to which the answer is obviously (apparently) you. For example maybe he says "...but there is one to keep me company", to which we're lead to reply "who is that?". What that section of dialog is, and how to trigger it from him is still unknown however.

I was wrong!

He responds to "who am I" and "who is" in the same way, replying "Well assuming the question is as silly as it sounds, you are %t".

So basically this set of dialog would immediately follow Sralm's dialog "I hope you are not here to free a prisoner. The Tribunal punishes such actions harshly. Once here there is no hope of escape. Even for one such as [I]". The correct response is "Who are you?", which is already posted and continues the conversation. The incorrect response is "Who am I?" or "Who is I?" which causes Sralm to respond "Well assuming the question is as silly as it sounds, you are %t".

Once dropped Words of Anguish. Also, this mob will add if you pull another prisoner by his cell. He must have a key to get out or something :P Very annoying as you may have guessed.
More about this guy

Besides telling him that 'Sebilis was destroyed by Trakanon'

You could try tell him 'Sebilis has been taken by the Frogloks' and he will answer:
'This can't be real! Frogloks in Sebilis, my ancestral home. My how the mighty has fallen. I guess I was better off here after all.'

Can someone tell me more about this guy as he seems to have more story than what we already unfold.

He has 2 spawn points, 1 in the caves(for some crazy reason) and another on the top floor of PoJ near the zone out.

He is roughly level 52 or so, hits for 200's , he is a WARRIOR, not a monk like everyone would like to think.

He drops nothing aside from coin. Pretty low sv magic in my experience. He is in FD form on top and standing in the caves.
