My hubby an 84 necro and I an 81 mag killed him easy, loc 256.61, 483.68, -79.34, in the northwest area - on mapfiend maps its the green tunnels

I have been in this zone a couple days in a row now. I have not seen any emotes nor have I seen Carpin!! I had a Druid along for track, wiped the entire area multiple times and NOTHING!! Can someone enlighten me on what's going on?? Is there a PH, does it spawn at a certain time, etc???

Where is this guy? Can't find him anywhere. I get the emotes, and I'm at the right point in quest, but can't find him. Anyone know?
soloed on my 70 mage with my cleric merc... so not really soloed lol more so duoed but was simple mostly just spammed heals cuz he reissted most of my spell so i used pyrilen aura on my pet a few times and just healed and let him kill. used host of elements and servant of ro, those were helpful dps.. btw 200aa 70 mage easy kill np just dont bother trying to nuke if u r lvl 70 cuz its a waste of mana

Mob has about 75,000 hit points. Decent 80 mage could solo it, esp with RS.

As no info on recent kills.
I can confirm he's easily a solo kill for a level 80 mage.

took this guy out tonight with all 75 war pally cleric shammy mage ranger the war and ranger got charmed and beating the pally up cleric kept him alive and the mob went down fast with me nucking and the shammy dotting

Just thought i would post that we did this last nite, at this time all the 75's are at anguish geared. 75 druid, 75 bard, 75 beastlord, 75 mage, and 65 shadowknight. The druid and beast were boxed, and the mage and sk were boxed. I was only playing the bard.
We did this on first run in. We had beastlord go first, got lucky slow stuck first try and then he was charmed, his pet continued beating on mob, while he was attacking the druid. Mage went in next, nuked away and dropped the full set aa pets, then he was charmed was beating on the bard. I fought for a bit,popped off all my aa abilities, then the bard(me) was charmed and took down the sk, and then moved to the beastlords pet. Some charms broke, got off few more nukes and dots. Sk, druid and mage were all down by time i got control of myself again, spun on mob at 25%, beastlord was 45%,his pet at 2%, and bard was at 65%. We dropped all we had left for nukes and bam dead.
Bard, beasty and his pet lived. Got mage back in with 25 mins left on corpse to get his item. Was great fight and lots of fun.

Attempted this last night with a well equipped group of level 70's: War, Bst, Mag, Dr, Clr, Nec.
Instantly charmed the MT, who killed the cleric, then charmed the Bst, then killed everyone. Lastly charmed the Mage who followed him around in his room for ten minutes (with Mage Earth pet in tandem tow). We got mob to 76%.
He regens very slow, but despawned so I camped and came back for a second attempt.
This time, the same thing happened - the War got charmed, then the Bst who both beat on the cleric. The cleric kited these two around the room, while the Mage and Necro beat down the Elemental, with the druid healing.
Got the mob to 56% and looked like this was going to work but the mob then charmed the cleric, who was kiting the others. This means, the charm is something other than a normal proc.
At first I thought the charm was a proc that hit the melee-ers but it somehow landed on the cleric which led to our second loss.
The druid evac-ed and the Clr, War and Bst all followed the elemental around for ten minutes. When their charm broke one-by-one, I CoTH-ed them to safety so we only lost the necro.
Another strange thing was the mage pet stayed behind somehow after evac and kept fighting.

3 Mages (2+myself), a boxed Cleric and me boxing a Shaman. All geared extremely well. Invis'd to room with all but 1.5 Mage, cleared, ran Mage in.
Elemental charms Shaman off the bat, starts slowing everything in sight. I switch to Mage, help nuke it to 65%, when Elemental charms EVERYONE. We're all Charmed, and following Elemental around the room. Charm breaks on Mage and Shaman, I malos/slow/cripple him, Mage breaks out RS/AA pets. Kills Cleric, 2 other Mages start hammering this guy. As the Shaman, I put Magic, Disease and Poison dots on this guy; his health was droppin faster than a wh0re's pants.
Ultimately dots own him, rez in Mage and loot. But jeez, was hilarious to see 4 of us become this half baked Elemental's ***** in seconds

Went in to try with a very good lvl 70 group. The group is well equiped, and we popped vet AA infusion of spirit.
Well, don't waste your vet AA, since it did nothing to prevent the charm.
Group: pal, war, mag, clr, wiz, shm.
The charm is a proc, and it proc's alot. Pal got charmed, then war, so left mag pet tanking for a bit, then mag charmed. The rest wiped during all this. After charm wore off, the 3 of us started killing again and got it to 42 percent, then all charmed again. Before others could get back to help, it de-popped.
The mob's HP is very low, so a couple DPS can burn NP.
NOTE: do not have any kind of Damage Shield on your group, since the pal said after scrolling back, alot of his damage after being charmed was from others DS on.
The biggest problem is of course the charm. Get around this, and you will have np.
This fight is for Mage epic 2.0.
UPDATE: Killed him on our return to CoD with 16 in raid. Carpin was up, so we killed event and got some peeps back flagged. MT was charmed right at start, along with a few others, but fight lasted prob around 1 min.
Can be done with less, but the charm proc can make things go bad fast if some of your key players get charmed. Best to have a few more then you may need so you don't have to return ;-)
No Chest Spawn for loot.
