I was able to talk to Etumer and request the mission - but when I killed Mujaki, his shade never spawned.

I immediately tried the non-instance Plane of Nightmare, and did everything the same. That time, the shade spawned and I got the soulstone shard.

Tried Oct 13 07....we had 4 groups ..3 full one just a person. after hail, only 2 groups were gated into the zone for the fight. We had all our big tanks and clerics in that group left behind. Oh well...we kept going...waves were NP. Then we engaged mujaki the devourer and killed him with out too much troble.....then nothing happened..=/. We had no more pops. I hope we can try it again, and I hope next time this event works. =/.

I got a small raid together last night in hopes of getting another piece for my 1.5, but lo and behold, everything was bugged from the word go. Etumer wasn't where he was supposed to be, spent over an hour looking for him. Boyfriend tracked him down, to find he was stuck in a wall, so wasted another 20 mins trying to get him out. (Hint, if this happens to, type /tar etumer, and taunt). Well, we finally get into the city, the servents and what not are already up on the stage. Needless to say, we wipe. However, after rezzes and everything else, we're are able to target mujaki the devourer. we kill him, but then the shade doesn't pop.
easy

Killed on January 8 2007, We killed this with 5 people and no slower, pally. wizard, sk, Rogue, and cleric, the SK was boxing the cleric, the sk and pally both tanked the named mob since he feared, fully buffed the SK was 18k hp and 3.1k ac, the pally was 17K hp and 3.2K ac. the wizzy had 12k mana unbuffed. the cleric had 11.8k mana and was at 65% when the fight was done, both nameds were really easy, only bad part was gettin the spawns at beginning killed before the next wave comes, every 5 minutes... but overall was a real easy kill and relatively quick.

Killed him last night for my Paladin Epic 1.5 Soulstone Shard (Drema's). He was not hard at all given today's level of gear. We had just completed the Hedge event and had 18 people - most were Level 70 - which was overkill for this event.

Once you are ported by Etumer, run due south and stand in the center of the three obelisks and in front of the stage where Mujaki is standing. You'll have a few minutes to prepare. Once the MOBs start spawning draw them to the center, mez and kill them one at a time (or kill them a few at a time if you have enough people). The MOBs mostly spawn about 3 at a time. I stood on the stage to catch any that made it past the kill zone we had set up in the center (only one did). By the way, the one MOB that made it to Mujaki and turned into a horseman did not participate in the Mujaki fight at all; he never did become targetable.

Anyway, once Mujaki became targetable, we just burned him down. He had an annoying Fear and a lot of HPs, but was very doable with a good tank and healers. Same goes for his Shade. Nothing tricky. He too just had a lot of HPs and Feared.

The Chest loot was the Muramite Silk Slippers of Contention.

Finally, please note that I was NOT the raid leader or even a group leader. I did request the mission however. I mention this since Bonzz's Paladin website says the Paladin MUST be the raid and a group leader for this event.

We did this raid for one of the pallys in the guild today, and we tried to do it back-to-back for myself afterwards but Etumer wouldnt give us the event, it was locked out. Anyone know the lock-out time?

#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 24 2005 at 12:53 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Trio'd these two guys today with an anguish geared Cleric, Enchanter, & Paladin. Cleric has 13k mana pool & enchanter has 12.5k mana. I have 10k mana - was 15.7 k buffed for fight. We had a charmed Steed to add dps. Got the adventure with a full group using 3 afk alts in the guild hall. The initial fight vs the devourer we had the enchanter & pet on 1 side, Cleric at 1 tomb and me at the other. With the addition of dodh, Vanquish undead 3 and Last rite was on my side. We went through the 2 waves of 3 and the remaining waves were with 6 mobs each. 1 mob got to the platform before he was aggro'd. When Mujaki came live he was aggro'd by proximity and started attacking. Took forever x 3 to kill him. By the time we had him down I had burned my fearless discipline.
Shade killed twice back-to-back

We did 2x Shade of Mujaki the Devourer raids for our Pallies (attempted to do 3x but Etumer refused to cooperate mentioning something about being "unable to summon the power to send us" again after we killed Mujaki the second time.

Basic information - 17-18 peeps (mostly elemental w/time-geared 10k/2k Pal MT) on raid (raid average of 67).
3 groups each with healer/slower + DPS.

Getting to the "city" area South of Hedge the only real challenge. Mujaki himself was weakling. Apparently could not be attempted more than twice in a row, Etumer only let us in twice back-to-back to the event.

The "Waves" of mobs that spawn during the event are only one-two mobs per gravestone. ALL are named "a servant of Mujaki" or "a helot of Mujaki". All hit for 100-300s on 68Pal with 1900+AC & basic Defensives. The servants pop from the graves every 2 minutes, seemingly regardless of how fast or slow you kill them.

They try to approach Mujaki at his stage area, some seemed to walk faster than others. They hit so softly slow is not necessary if 8-9k tanks w/healers. They do summon, but no Ramp/enrage, nor AEs or spells. Pure melee.

Mujaki went live after the 7th wave of spawns on the 1st run, and after the 8th wave on 2nd run. Both times he went live and stood there on stage, did not rush to aggro anyone, although he did con Scowling.

AE rampages, watch the melee during fight. Also, may want to have melee back off at around 5-7% so MT can aggro the Shade 1st thing after it pops.

1100DD nuke didn't even do 1% on Shade of Mujaki, so HPs are way up there (IF 1% = 1100 then max HP would have been 110,000 -- but actual HPs much larger than that). AE rampages, watch the melee during fight.

Didn't MT so don't have the parse from it at this time, but with 3x healers in CH cycle, we had no problem at all burning him down. Pure melee mob. MT had all resists at 250+, never feared or casted at all that we noticed, but possible that at MR 250+ All fears were resisted.

Dropped two decent melee items off the chests on both kills, both are posted under the A chest link from above.

Event can probably be done with 12-15 elemental np.

Killing the shade

Took the shade of Mujaki down last night. It was a fun fight. Had about 20, mostly level 70, in the raid, and the waves begin to spawn as soon as the raid force zoned in. Mostly elementally geared and lower.

Upon zone in, we took raid south along the wall til you reach the staging area. Put one group at each tombstone (east, west and south) with the circular plate on it. 4th group assisted. Each wave spawns about 1 or 2 mobs at each tombstone. Wasnt too hard.

Once mujaki became targetable, we had 5 servants who reached the stage. Wizard accidently evaced his group out of the event so we had about 14 left in the raid to take on Mujaki. Shadowknight attempted to pull without Fearless aa, which didnt work too well. So we had the adds kited as I pulled Mujaki. The adds were killed before focusing on Mujaki. We just burned Mujaki down, and then the shade spawn instantly at same spot upon Mujaki's death. Once slowed, the shade was not that much harder than mujaki.

We had 3 knight tanks, 3 clerics, 3 shamans, and 2 enchanters with rest being dps. All in all it was a fun event. Dropped a Muramite Chain Bracer of Battle for us.

The way we ended up killing him was somewhat strange. We attempted this event 2 weeks ago, and suceeded on the real Mujaki. But we had 1 cleric and not enough Firepower to continue to Bring down the Shade, and we ended up calling it.

Now, we tried 2 weeks later, and I'm not sure wtf is going on. There is already 1 Horseman on the platform, and Both Mujaki AND the Shade are up, but the Shade is targetable! I acted quickly, assuming that the event would still be on OR that the original would become targetable at the same time and we'd be stuck fighting 2 at once (lol.)

So I pulled it as soon as we could using Fearless, and pulled it to the east wall where the rest of the Raid was waiting.

He Casts the same exact spells (even the same names) but cons Red, where as the real Mujaki is only level 70. He hit a bit harder than Mujaki, mainly because of the level difference breaking through AC, but he was slowed lickedy split, and hit extremely slow for a level 80 mob. You DONT need to be "uber" to tank him.

To dispell some rumors... This guy isn't "MEAN" as someone else had said. His spells are exactly the same, and his hits end up being about the same as the real Mujaki. He Doesn't Death Touch (why would you even think that) and he ends up having a pretty big Regeneration like the original did.

He didn't drop anything other than the Shard for the Pally epic, but 'a chest' spawned, and inside was

Muramite Plate Helmet of War
