WTF!!!!
Don't know what is going on, but it is damn near impossible to level up in research.
Akila is no longer in Crescent Reach. Looks like something was nerfed recently.
All the items I try to create via research can't be done because the ingredients (that are supposed to be able to be bought) are no longer available no matter what vendor I go to.
This sucks!!!!

Researcher Akila is still in Crescent Reach. You'll need to go up the ramp near Researcher Melka.

I'm a rogue with no research skill, saw this quest as a way to get started, bought the Tomb binding kit and started the quest received: "Simple Quill Cutting Tool" and 20 - "Plain flight feathers" took 1 feather and the tool and put them in the kit (only one feather and one "Plain flight feather" I expected to be able to combine the two and proceed on my way to glory, but the combine button doesn't even flicker with the possibility of activating, like there is nothing to push.

You need to first train the Research skill at a Rogue Guildmaster, then you can start combining Research recipes. Also note that training 1 point in Research at the guildmaster will instantly grant you a Research skill equal to your character level, up to 115.

I'm thinking that this "task" is for spell research skill and I didn't get the "task/quest" due to the fact that my research skill is currently at 272.

She is not a merchant. Does not respond to right click. only there for base research quest for skill ups to mid-50s
