I saw the post about the Vindi/statue raid, but I have never been to Skyshrine, and I was wondering if it is as time-consuming to raise faction here as it is to raise it with Guardians of the Vale (noticed it couldn't get any higher while I fought in High Hold Keep). From what I remember, it took quite a long time to do that...

If I am KOS to dragons can i still sneak in there and give him the neccesary things for the quest?

No, it's not feasible...
You need like ally faction to do the quest... If you sneak, you're only indiff...

if i kill this dude will he drop the pieces of the armor...i dont care to raise this faction or spend a year on my server trying to get this, but i do want the armor....so does anyone know if hell give it if you kill him

Getting the faction up is not so tough (if you're in a guild tough enough to take on HoT for the armour drop anyway). Get on a Vindi/statue raid. Your faction will fly up, plus you'll get vindi's head; the toughest bit of the gloves of earthcrafting quest!

he will NOT drop armor if you kill him. all you will do is get jumped by Every Mob in the zone and die a horrible death

he is located in the upper Fe'Dhar room past the maze with all the other quest mobs in SS
a really good set of maps for ss are on eqmaps.com they have a zipped up version with about 7 maps in detail with mob spawn locations.
you can get it here: its what I used http://eqmaps.com/m2/skyshrine3_set.zip
the easy way to get through the maze is just remember this: hug right wall till port then hug left wall till port, straight till port. turn 180 degrees and go straight and you exit maze.

Where is this guy located in Skyshrine?

Anyone know where this guy is located? I am assuming now he is in the Dragon area, and not out with the other Fe`Dhar in the Golem/maze areas. I have been through those areas pretty thoroughly and not seen this guy.
