He asks you to kill 10 Guttersnipe Crooks in the Sprawl. Then report back to him, and tell him how long it took them to die.

This quest opens up the Preventative Maintenance quest.

Verin Ithelz, an Iksar in Scale Yard, has asked me to go to the Sprawl and kill ten dervish crooks. I am to see how long it takes before they die, then report back to him.

Stage 1

I should travel to the Sprawl and start beating on these dervish crooks.

Start:	I must kill ten Dervish crooks.
Complete:	I have killed the Dervish crooks.

I've beaten up ten of the dervishes.

Verin paid me for testing the dervish crooks' mettle and let me keep one of their manacles. He told me that he may have further use of me in the future, so I should check back with him later.
