This quest is initiated by reading the book The Murkies. This book is sold by Sage Navarius Orvalis at the Academy in North Freeport. It consists of a series of kill tasks in The Serpent Sewers. After each step you must read the book again to receive the next. They are:

• 7 murkwater inducts
• 6 murkwater inducts
• 5 drudge globules
• 7 murkwater inducts
• 5 murkwater inducts
• 1 murkwater abbetor
• 1 murkwater abbetor

The reward is a furniture version of the book, which can be placed in your home.
