Found grey rocks at -335, -13, 459. -220, -129, 388. -150, -126, 279. -311, -130, 384.

They seem to be near groups of Sootfoot gatherers mining rocks. (Logically enough.)

a gray rock

Blisterzonk asks you to go and collect two gray rocks. These are their own seperate nodes and can be found in Najena's Valley and Magma Grotto. They use the gathering skill and despawn after 1 pull.

Once you have those, you need to find a single, ashen rock. For some reason, these still work off the gray rock nodes, so pick up another of those.
Next you have to find a sooty rock. Again, these work off the gray rock nodes for an inexplicable reason.
The next rocks to find are light black rocks. You need two of these. Once again, gray rock nodes work.
When you have those, go find a single, light gray rock. Again, gray rock nodes work.
Now you need a dark gray rock. Go hunt another gray rock node.

That's all the rocks you need. Return to Blisterzonk to finish the quest and loose some Sootfoot faction (Stupid goblins, don't ask). Magnurmal, who is outside the tent, will now also give you quests

While exploring the volcanic isle of Lavastorm I stumbled upon Blisterzonk, a member of the Sootfoot Talent Society, attempting to find employment for the Sootfoot goblin clan. But somehow he has recruited me to help them instead. Maybe if I do a few tasks for them it will suffice.

Stage 1

Blisterzonk wants me to collect many rocks from Najena's Valley and Magma Grotto.

Start:	I must find two gray rocks.
Complete:	I found two gray rocks.

Start:	I must find an ashen rock.
Complete:	I found an ashen rock.

Start:	I must find a sooty rock.
Complete:	I found a sooty rock.

Start:	I must find two light black rocks.
Complete:	I found two light black rocks.

Start:	I must find a light gray rock.
Complete:	I found a light gray rock.

Start:	I must find a dark gray rock.
Complete:	I found a dark gray rock.

I collected all of the rocks that Blisterzonk wanted.

Stage 2

I should return to Blisterzonk now that I have all the different rocks that he was looking for.

Start:	I should return to Blisterzonk at the Sootfoot Talent Society tent near Fennin's Pass in Lavastorm and give him the rocks.
Complete:	I spoke with Blisterzonk.

I returned to Blisterzonk and gave him the eight very different rocks.

Blisterzonk, a member of the Sootfoot Talent Society, was frustrated when I couldn't identify the differences in the gray rocks I gathered for him.
