Speak to Merrik at 4265, -1096, 2061 in Cobalt Scar to begin this quest. You must complete Osh's quest Ritual of Bone before Merrik will this one.
Enter the Cave of Anguish ( 4122, -1081, 2223 )
Shatter the bone barriers. You will be attacked by 6-8 othmir as the barriers 'die': Target "a decrepit othmir bonemelder" when adds pop and kill it quickly, or the bone barriers will heal.
First: 4014, -1102, 2263
Second: 4013, -1115, 2324
Third: 4054, -1115, 2339
Defeat Bonesplinter. Engage him quickly as risen othmir will start attacking before you even enter combat and can quickly overwhelm you.
