Found my 'a large chest' in South tower, lvl 3. Looks just like a Master Chest. :)

I am pretty sure the large chest which gives the golden pile of coins update is only on the 2nd or 3rd floor of either the north or south tower only.

I have done done this quest three times myself and helped at least 6 others do it.

OK, first things first, Alemi's post is incorrect, I was offered the items listed in the quest description. Now, I'll give some more info on the items. The book is very small, so easy to miss. It is where described and is a 55^^^ single mob. Meatbeast looks like a raptor in SS, and is roughly at the waypoint given, I found him a bit to the south. He is also a 55^^^ single mob. The coins are actually a harvest item labled "a large chest", which I found in the south tower with the other mobs that look like small chests. Hope this helps, this is an easy quest for a nice item.

Seems that this reward was changed along with all the other quests in this series. I turned this in last night, after the nerf to the end reward and wasn't presented with the 5 items. I had a choice of my lvl 55 adept.

Visit the scriptorium is not required to complete Poet's Palace access. I thought it was originally, but you need only complete Master's Museum, The Caretaker and Be Careful What You Wish For.
