Announced at the 2009 SOE Fan Faire, Sentinel's Fate is planned for release in February 2010. It will take place in Odus, and explore the lore behind the Void Incursion, Kerra, and Erudites. There will be an across the board level cap increase to 90.

EverQuest®II Sentinel’s Fate™ and EverQuest®II Sentinel’s Fate™ Collectors Edition, the sixth expansion for the popular online game EverQuest®II, is now available for pre-order at www.everquest2.com.

The expansion, scheduled to be available exclusively at retail on February 16, 2010, followed by the digital launch on February 23, 2010, is an all-in-one compilation pack which transports players into a universe of legend and lore where adventures are just the beginning. Both retail and digital versions will be available for the suggested retail price of $39.99 (plus applicable taxes). Additionally, a Collectors Edition including exclusive items is being offered for $69.99 (plus applicable taxes)

Fan Faire Attendees

Fan Faire attendees with accounts in good standing will receive a complimentary digital copy of the retail version. You will have the early access and items associated with the retail version of the game. [1]

International Customers

An IP-locked digital download will be made available through several yet-to-be-announced digital distributors on February 16, as the details of international retail box distribution are not yet nailed down. [2]

The DD provided to our international community will be the Digital Download version of the game, and come with the DD bonuses.

These include:

• 500 Station Cash
• LoN Fall of Erudin scenario
• 30 days free play time for new accounts
• In-game armor piece - Guarding of the Learned

The CE will not be available via DD. It is a retail only version of the game and can be purchased in a store or via an online retailer and shipped. [3]

Tidbits of Info

Raids

• There are no plans to create more x2s than x4s in Sentinel's Fate.
• There will be contested epic mobs.

Things such as x2's and encounters with multiple difficulty levels offer a challenge to a wider range of players, and help smooth the progression from solo/group play to our challenging raids. They do not supplant the content, nor is that their intent. [4]]
