EQ2 Quest:What's Love Got to Do With It  

Speak to Priestess Annalisa Swornlove at 8, 149, -64 Copy near the Cairn of the Huntress in New Halas (Frostfang Sea) to begin this quest.

This quest is not repeatable.

I met up with Priestess Annalisa Swornlove in Antonica's Coastal Grove, along with her brother, Aaronolis, and three Sisters of Erollisi. She has been shaken by the apparent power of hate, but she is determined to continue to carry out the works of Erollisi!

It is possible that lower level characters may not be able to complete this quest without assistance due to the travel through Nektulos Forest.

1. I must enter the Nektropos Castle.
• This is a special instance of Nektropos called "Love's Errand". The NPCs inside scale and should be soloable. You will get the update to entering the castle when you enter the center of the entrance room.
• Mercenaries can enter this instance with you.
2. I should find a scroll at the foot of a statue inside the Everling castle.
• None of the castle doors will open, so the only egress is through the stable in the northeast of the entrance room. Halfway through the stable, you will be struck by a falling block trap, which does a great amount of damage (45% of your max health) and temporarily shrinks you.
• After getting past the stable, head south toward the jail room. The door here can be opened. There are three jailers inside, but they are not necessary to kill to progress.
• Continue heading south from the jail, and you will come across the door of the chapel. Inside the chapel you will find a scroll at -20, -1, 54 Copy , at the back part of the statue.
3. I should inspect the curious scroll I found at Ullkorruuk's statue.
• Examine the scroll, which reads: A tale of love unparalleled you seek. Voices of treachery have often guided the house of Everling. Seek her presence and guidance you shall receive.
4. I should seek "her presence" as "voices of treachery have often guided the house of Everling."
• At the front of Ullkorruuk's statue is a stone that you first need to dust off and then read aloud (click it twice to do this). An NPC named Kirstiana X'aphon spawns for you to speak to.
5. I must locate and enter the Everling library.
• Leave the chapel and head south. You will find a hidden door on the southern face of the wall at -20, -0.08, 67 Copy . Ascend the stairs to the bedroom and leave through the doorway at -44, 14, 73 Copy .
• The door to the library -26.76, 12.89, 64.45 Copy , does not work, so head west to the dining room. Very cautiously enter this room... several poltergeists (straight con, one level below you) will spawn! The mobs in this room are not necessary to kill to progress.
• Leave, or bypass, the dining room and continue heading west and then north. There will be two tiny bedrooms on the eastern wall. Before entering the hallway to these bedrooms, there is a small trap on the ground that you can right-click and disarm. It almost blends into the ground, so look hard! You must kill the restless liches in these bedrooms in order to unlock the library.
• Once you defeat the lich in both rooms (sometimes there is only one), you should get a zone emote stating "You hear the sound of wooden doors opening, scraping against stone!". Head back to the library, where the doors are now ajar.
6. I must obtain the tome stolen from the Vaults of Truth and Love within the Everling library.
• The tome is a blue book located on the northwest side of the central book shelves at -19, 14, 47 Copy .

• I should return to Priestess Annalisa Swornlove in New Halas.

After completing this quest, Unforgettable will update and can be continued.

Priestess Annalisa Swornlove says to you, "I am afraid that I now have doubt. I find myself questioning. Is love stronger than hate? Love has been defeated by it. How can it be stronger?"
You say to Priestess Annalisa Swornlove, "I understand your doubts, and I think you are right. Hate is stronger."
NOTE: There were several responses to Annalisa at this point; we picked the 'Hate is stronger' one because we were doing this quest with a Dark Elf. Regardless of which option was chosen, Annalisa responded about the same to each.
Priestess Annalisa Swornlove says to you, "That is what I fear, Siada. What other conclusion can we draw? But perhaps, it is just the grief talking. I have comforted many others by telling them how understandable it is that our faith be tested by this."
