Temple missionaries, unwilling to move for fear of inviting notice from the undead denizens, are trapped within Fallen Gate. Convert Y'ral of the Dismal Rage has requested that I slaughter the blighted inhabitants before they are able to discover the missionaries.

Stage 1

I need to shield the missionaries by slaughtering mindless corpses within Fallen Gate.

Start:	I need to kill mindless corpses.
Complete:	I killed mindless corpses.

I shielded the missionaries by slaughtering mindless corpses.

The potential threat against the missionaries has been reduced now that I have slaughtered a number of the walking corpses.

This city task is available to players who are members of a guild and between the levels of 15 and 19. It is given by Convert Y'Ral inside the Temple of War in North Freeport.

You must slay Mindless Corpses in Fallen Gate.

The reward is status points and faction.

This writ is no longer offered. It has been replaced by a newer writ hunting in the Commonlands instead.
