Game Update #62

December 6, 2011

Speak to Thesla Blackthorne at -74, -8, -120 outside the Temple of War in North Freeport to begin this quest.

Enter Longshadow Alley: Daeneth Cloister at -93, -35, -367 in North Freeport.
Speak to a Nerian gate sentry again.
Talk to a Nerian Questioner again.
Kill the questioner. It might be wise to move close to the Freeport gate right after this step.
Defend against the mob for a while; these are an enraged Nerians. The first two will attack one at a time, then more will come at once. Keep fighting until this step updates.
Once your quest updates telling you to flee to Freeport, leave the zone before you are overwhelmed.
Return to Thesla Blackthorne to complete the quest.

Thesla Blackthorne has sent me back into Longshadow Alley to extract information about Tayil's whereabouts. By force, if necessary.

Stage 1

Thesla has sent me back to Longshadow Alley armed with a writ signed by Lucan. This should give me access to their leaders.

Start:	Speak to an arasai guard... again
Complete:	I've spoken to an arasai cultist.

Start:	Speak to a Questioner... again
Complete:

I was unable to gain any useful information from the cultists.

Stage 2

I need to threaten these cultists. Killing one of their Questioners should do the trick!

Start:	Kill a Questioner
Complete:	I've killed an arasai Questioner.

Start:	Stand your ground against the mob
Complete:

I've killed a Questioner, and survived the resultant cultist attacks.

Stage 3

I have defeated several cultists, but their ranks seem endless, I must flee before I am overwhelmed.

Start:	Return to Freeport to avoid the unending onslaught of cultists
Complete:	I've avoided the onslaught of cultists.

I have fled Longshadow Alley, but the cultists now know my face.

Stage 4

The cultists have become too hostile to deal with. I need to speak to Thesla, and may require assistance from a higher authority within Freeport.

Start:	Return to Thesla
Complete:

I've given Thesla my report.

The cultists of Longshadow Alley physically attacked me, even though I was there under orders by Lucan (sort of). Losing control of a section of the city is not an option.
