A Gathering Obsession (EQ2 Quest Series)  

To date, this is the only signature series that both Adventurers and Artisans are able to equally do. These quests solely go off of your harvesting skill, so whichever of your professions (adventuring or crafting) is higher will dictate how high your harvesting can be.

This series will use all of your harvesting skills, so ensure that you raise your Fishing, Foresting, Gathering, Mining and Trapping evenly. Most people will be unable to complete the entire series until they are between levels 65-68 due to skill constraints. Items that boost your skills (such as the Artisan only Automated Shears, Automated Pickaxe and Automated Watersafe Net) are a great help to finishing this series.

Speak to Qho Augren in The Village of Shin to begin this series. You must be at least level 5 to begin the first quest.

1. A Gathering Obsession - Tier 1 harvesting
2. A Gathering Obsession, Part II - Tier 2 harvesting, requires 20+ skills
3. A Gathering Obsession, Part III - Tier 3 harvesting, requires 90+ skills
4. A Gathering Obsession, Part IV - Tier 4 harvesting, requires 140+ skills
5. A Gathering Obsession, Part V - Tier 5 harvesting, requires 190+ skills
6. A Gathering Obsession, Part VI - Tier 6 harvesting, requires 240+ skills
7. A Gathering Obsession, Part VII - ''Tier 7 harvesting, requires 250+ skills or 290+ skills
• Kingdom of Sky zones (Tenebrous Tangle, Bonemire and Barren Sky) require 250+ skill.
• Loping Plains (Echoes of Faydwer expansion) requires 290+ skill.
8. A Gathering Obsession, Part VIII - Tier 8 harvesting, requires 340+ skills
9. A Gathering Obsession, Final Errand - Will need to harvest or purchase one mantrap root
10. NEW with Velious!! The Return Of A Gathering Obsession - Level 400 harvesting skills

NOTE: Sometimes Qho will not have the quest feather showing that he has the next tier's quest to offer, but you can normally obtain it anyways if you simply hail him again.

Your reward is the fabled Cloak of the Harvester.
