I was trying to work this quest today, and was able to calm the holgresh with out any issues. The problem I was having comes after there already calmed, I would get a tell from it, but couldn't obtain a dialog after that point. The curser did change from attack to talk modes, but just couldn't get any dialog or choices from it.

I've noticed that only certain holgresh seem to give dialogue choices. I think it may be only the fighter types, but I'm not 100% certain. If anyone else knows for sure please keep us updated! :)
As of 4/21/12, I did get this to work fine.
After you get the calm spell, you go back to the satyr for the fruit....its just an update, not an item.
Now go back, and at around -1622,-597,-1247 there will be some local holg's. Try the spell on one of them and you will immediately get a dialog button on the holg.
I tried the mobs further in earlier and those didnt work. But the ones closest to Eriun did.

it sitll didn't work I put in the coords just now and there was only one holgresh on a rock he immedialty turned agro when im invis broke while using hte calming spell. and yes I did go to hte satyr first yesterday to get the fruit when it wasn't working

Try it while not invis, that way you can get close enough to the holgresh with no aggro to use the spell. Just creep up to the ones just beyond the combine camp and use the spell (hotkey it) as soon as you can. If you're invis it'll just keep catching you by surprise because you'll end up closer than you need to be and will get the aggro.

i have tried invis, dismissing my merc from infront and behind all I get is instant agro as soon as my invis gets taken off and the words there are no tagets in range. tried it 8 times ti must be broken. I /bugged and repoted int offical forums wanted to warn people to skip this until they fix it so as not to get the frustration i had.
