Servers came down at 11am Pacific for a one-hour update.

Just before 11am Pacific this announcement appeared on the official forums:

Status: 5/16/2014 10:47 PDT - EQ2 US, Europe, Russia and Japan Worlds are coming down at 11am PDT for a quick update. Estimated down time 1 hour.

The spell "Pressing Luck" should no longer grow based on the number of players it hits. Instead it should grow based on the number of times it hits each player respectively.
