I am surprised that EQ2 is trying the same scam a second time; The DoV offered a flying mount that was bound to quest not available until 86, but the mission it actually a 90-level quest. So you end up with an item you cannot use unless your toon is able to complete the quest. Now, they do this again with AoD by offering another mount that will most likely be limited and unobtainable until some lame quest is done. Come on EQ2, do you really think that little of your "remaining" customers?

Players can still upgrade, they will just not get access to AoD features without the feature pack. They are getting all the older xpacs for free, instead of included in a new pack. Just wait buying it until it is less new, if the price is over the hill - and it is high.

Not quite right. They get all content through Sentinel's Fate free.

A lot of nerve asking $40 or $60/$90 and not including DoV

SOE should not charge the full all inclusive price for an "expansion" that has features, a new class, no new zones and throws us AA but doesnt include DoV. We have received Game Updates that added features so I guess that is why they threw in the AA. Do they really expect someone to buy both DoV and AoD if they are new to the game? This expansion should cost a maximum of $30 without DoV. Apparently, they have decided to rip off the customers they have left and gouge the new ones who wish to upgrade from Free to Play. I have been playing EQ since Ruins of Kunark and EQ2 since launch but find myself checking out the web site for Star Wars: The Old Republic. For the first time I am seriously considering leaving Everquest. It is a dark day on Norrath... Smiley: disappointed
