We are pleased to help introduce A Bibliophile's Guide to the Books of Norrath, a book cataloging project by our friend Aurelis.  It's been a lot of fun watching her scour ZAM in her mission to catalog every single house item book available in modern Norrath!

Thus far she's cataloged:

  • 428 books that are 100% verified to be attainable (this includes books that can no longer be gotten through normal methods, such as event-specific books, but were at one time available)
  • 2 books that have been discovered on some servers but have not been 100% confirmed.  While I count these books, some of you may not.  They have been marked accordingly in the list.
  • 20 books that have not been discovered, appear to have been removed very early in the game, or just plain don't seem to exist beyond a link in the EQ2 database.
  • 1 book that was once a house item and is kept on the list in memoriam of its untimely demise.

Aurelis is taking comments and contributions on this thread on the official forums.

Look out World of Warcraft PTR players - Fony is on the loose! The second episode of The BFF Report's sneak peek of WoW's Patch 3.3 is now live, and the hilarity only continues as Fony chronicles his escapades through Icecrown Citadel.

So what's in store for viewers in this episode?

Three words: Pit of Saron. Delving into the next five-player dungeon on his tour, Fony takes a crack at Forgemaster Garfrost, Krick and Ick, and Scourgelord Tyrannus. Last but not least, Fony takes a crack at a gunship battle... but things don't go quite as planned.

Aimee "Ashlanne" Rekoske posted on the Station Community Forums:

From 6:00 AM PST until 8:00 AM PST on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, SOE Account and Commerce flow, Station Store and the Station Marketplace will be unavailable. We expect this maintenance to take approximately 2 hours.

This downtime may also cause some forum accounts to temporarily lose permissions, due to the inability to verify account status while the maintenance is taking place. This is only temporary and normal permissions will return automatically once the maintenance is complete.
