I was on last night when the Open Beta ended, as I was there the day the first Closed Beta test opened, and I am still loving this game. Sure, I have a number of reservations, but I did pre-order and I will be playing it. It remains to be seen how long I continue playing.

Much of that has to do with how they address the repetitiveness of raising alts. There just is not enough breadth to the storyline. There are only 2 viewpoints, not 8 or 16, so an Asmodian Warrior's experience is identical to an Asmodian Mage's or an Asmodian Scout's. You only get to do things different twice, and you can't even do that on the same server.

Also, for those that prefer PvE and, honestly, suck at PvP (like me), how are they gonna keep us from getting sick and disgusted at traveling for an hour only to reach my objective and run into an enemy war party against which I had zero chance of survival.

Some would say "Well, this is a PvP game, so maybe you should go find another game?" To them I say, "This is a PvPvE game and, frankly, I find the PvE in this game fascinating". The lore is very good for a new game, and I cannot wait to see how the Lepharists mesh with the prophecy and where all of this is going.

Well, it's raid night (EQ2) for me, and I need to get going. Also, I have tons of screenshots from Open Beta to work through, so until the 20th I will just say "Blood for blood!"
