Ok, so far, I'm like 0/10 on movies in this forum. Hopefully I can get a point for this one. Story based on the original cast in the future.

I don't think that's the reboot. That looks more like the standalone fan made "grittier" version. Edit: That said, it looks way cooler than the actual movie reboot will probably be.

I'm not up on my lingo yet, but yea. If they had some of the original cast, with an obvious plot, I think this would be great. I was disappointed in what I considered "slow" fighting with Zack. I thought the joke about Billy was pretty funny.

Here is the NSFW version of the video that was removed from Vimeo. Watch/Download it before it's taken down.

Removed due to the original creator restoring his copy to YouTube.

As much as I would like to see the original cast, I think I can go with a "fill in" Tommy in order to get this movie done. I understand his concern, but let's be real, is Power Rangers still as popular with the kids as it was in the 90s? I've spent most of my time out of the states, so I'm not sure, but this is not Dora or Frozen.

It's always on TV when ever I'm at home during the day when flipping channels.

I think I saw one of the latest series (or maybe it was a short movie?) where the newest rangers had access to the powers of all the previous incarnations.

I watched the first series as a kid. I really enjoyed the whole Green/White ranger storyline. I didn't watch any of the other series.

As for the short film here, I enjoyed it. Up until the very last moment. I mean, I enjoyed it being Rita, I liked the dialog during the reveal. But I did not care for her costume. I guess it being the "grittier" version I expected less Rosanne and more um... Lana Parrilla?

I missed a "more" there at the end.

Well then, maybe they should strike a compromise with a PG-13/boarder line rated R movie. Although I enjoyed it, it was a bit over the top with vulgarity and violence, but then again, that was kind of the point. In any case, this is just another example of how fan movies can out perform the legitimate movies. Street fighter comes to mind.
