YOU ARE NOT SAFE, CORAL.

Man, they're really playing up the alternate story aspect of the show. I mean, I can guess what the season finale reveal is gonna be, but only vaguely and not a thing about the show itself. Good. Can't wait.

Man, Carol certainly became a badass in the two or three days she was exiled from the Jail. I mean, damn. About damn time we had a strong female character in the cast that wasn't Michonne, who let's be honest could use an extra point or two in her baddass point allocations. Everyone else was pretty awesome too, but I was impressed by her.

HI NEGAN. SEE YOU NEXT SEASON OR AT LEAST THIS SEASON FINALE.

My DVR cut out the last minute of the episode, but I had Talking Dead recording just in case, and it picked it up there.

That was Morgan at the end, right?

I texted my nephew and we both thought it was him, too.
And Daryl was really glad to get his crossbow back!

The only thing irking me was how at the start Glenn survived only because of convenient timing. Not one, but three times. Everything else was pure gold.

So remember the guy from the episode where Rick kicks Carol out of the prison, who never made it back to meet them & who's girlfriend with the gimp leg was found being eaten by the walkers? He was also the first guy who got bashed in the head next to team Rick.

He plays Cobblepot on Gotham.

They talked about him for a short time on Talking Dead. Laughed that they flew him out for the one scene and that was it, or something along those lines.

Yup. Still didn't realize it was Cobblepot until the next day, though.

It's ok as long as you are the only one. You gotta go highlander on that ****. Cause you'll be badass as long as you just kill every other ine that shows up.

As soon as Bob was abducted I knew what was coming next due to having read the comics. It is happening with a different character (this happened to Dale in the comics) but next week should be amusing.

Episode was good overall. I thought the dialogue in some of the scenes at the beginning to be a bit wonky.

Didn't want to reply, as it would have been a pretty big spoiler but I found it didn't make sense. I mean, the bite doesn't infect people. They're all already infected, that's kind of a big plot point. So they would have been okay with cooking up to that point, anyway. At worst it'd be severe food poisoning. Guess we really won't found out since they took that particular storypoint off the table.

RIP in peace Bob, your only crime was you were black. Smiley: frown

Also, bets on Carol having a facial scar next week? I think she's taking over for Andrea

Any ideas on who Daryl is bringing out of the woods?
My guess: Morgan

I would guess Beth, but it looks like we're flashbacking for an episode or two next so we'll know in a couple weeks(ish).

I'm going with Beth and Carol only because the way they showed Morgan at the end of the season opener seemed more like a long term story element, kind of like Negan. I'd put a small amount of money on they bringing Morgan in at the end of the mid-season finale.

I don't like Tyrese going soft. Him having let the other guy live without telling anyone was pretty sh*tty. And one whiny guy (the priest) should be enough.

The group splitting up again is also not that great.

Other than that, a good episode.

Listening to John Barrowman during Talking Dead, I can't help but think he could do a pretty good Gilbert Gottfried impression.

I'm just going to out and say I dislike disjointed storytelling like this. Jumping from stories A, B, and C gives me whiplash. At least we know Beth is safe with Badass Carol being wheeled in at the end of the episode.

The episode was better than I expected but not great. Do you think Carol is only pretending being helpless?
