I'm really looking forward to this season. Perhaps it's simply a lack of any other good tv programming, but this season should see much of the high excitement that this storyline throws at you......so far.

I'm really looking forward to this as well, but I hope they focus more on the "song of ice and fire" part of it, and not so much on all the houses and the politics.

I love that they are finally bringing Strong Belwas in, though I'd like to know the actor that is going to play him. The short clip you get of Oberyn fighting looked awesome and the scale of the guy they got to play The Mountain looks like that will be an great scene to watch.

Edit, after watching to trailer again that is either not Strong Belwas or they cast someone way too small.

I read somewhere that it is Daario Naharis who does this fight instead of Belwas. They changed the actor for Naharis, too.

This is the season that I've been looking forward to the whole series. Now that the War of the Five Kings is winding down, Joffrey finally gets his, and Tyrion's fall, Arya heading off to train, the Wildlings at the wall. Most of my favorite bits from the books are finally getting their screen time. It's too bad that the books take a turn for the worse after this. They're still good, but not much of interest happens. No major changes or interesting plot twists. Just the story plodding along.

That makes me a sad panda. Belwas, while not a central character, does have some key story points that belong to him. Though they have taken some liberties in the past giving dialog and scenes to other characters. The conversation between Reek and Roose about being highborn and posing as a peasant (m'lord as opposed to my lord) being giving to Arya and Tywin

Also it will take away from the story a bit by not having Belwas, a former fighting pit slave, in that fight against the fighting pit slavers.
