If you were not totally turned off by Felicia Day's attempt to be a serious actor portraying a warrior women mercenary thing in the Dragon Age web show, you might still find some entertainment value in The Guild. The sixth season starts this week.

The trailer....

On a more serious note, I have not watched any of The Guild. I haven't heard that many people talk about it either.

THIS. Felicia Day is a goddess and those who say otherwise will be burned at the stake.

I've only watched through episode 2 of The Guild (well, season 2 then I suppose). I'm enjoying it, but it's not something you watch in one sitting. Some aspects of the show are just brilliant though.

She's good enough on The Guild. That Dragon Age thing was simply horrendous. Granted, the whole thing was terrible but she sure wasn't working very hard to pull it out of the hole.

I remain convinced that her primary skillset is being attractive enough to gain attention but not so attractive that WoW nerds consider her unattainable. As long as they can convince themselves that they could potentially meet her at a convention and have a chance at rolling her in a Marriott hotel room, she'll stay popular.

Edit: I'll be fair and amend, as I forgot that she writes as well. I'm referring to her "front of the camera" skills, not behind it.

My favorite performance by her is actually her cameo on Supernatural (The Girl with the Dungeon and Dragons Tattoo).

She was okay in Dr. Horrible. Part of me doesn't really see what the following sees, but then I remember that she aims at the MMO crowd, so anything with tits is a break out success.

I enjoyed her part in Dr. Horrible, but it's hard to really pay attention to her performance with NPH and Nathan Fillion stealing the show.

I've only seen her in Eureka. I have very little opinion of her as an actress/writer. I just think she's attractive. And I'm OK with what ever people may think about that.

I think she's adorable, and that she's a good actress and a good writer. I'm hardly a fangirl though. Totally a Wil Wheaton fangirl though... I want to see him make another appearance as Fawkes.

I have a love-hate relationship with Wil Wheaton. I wanted Wesley Crusher to die with every fiber of my being. For his actor to be so lovable plays with my mind.

Felicia is more cute than hot, but definitely attractive.

Sixth season is looking to be good. Not sure how I like the new intro, but the writing is still funny. And go Mike Morhaime for being in the episode (dude with the WoW shirt).

Digg, you should watch him on TableTop.

Here's episode 11, where he plays with Felicia Day, Mike Morhaime (co-founder and president of Blizzard, in case people still haven't found out) and Bill Prady (co-creator of The Big Bang Theory, among other things).

I find Wil's personality confusing... it's like he's two people trapped in one body.

I like Wheaton, I just hate him for inflicting his TNG character on the world.

[EDIT]

I tried watching that, but SHOCKINGLY, watching four nerds play a tabletop game wasn't that entertaining.

There's just something about Wil Wheaton; he's a likeable guy, with a talent for playing characters that make your skin crawl. I mean, it's not "I love to hate you" type acting, it's "I keep forgetting you're acting and I really ******* hate you, and then afterwards I feel bad because I know you're just an actor and you aren't really like that" type acting Smiley: lol
