Be it in theater, DVD, cable/network broadcast, shaky phone-cam pirated download, whatever. Count only the last movie you watched "with purpose", i.e. not "I saw two minutes of 'Adventures in Babysitting' while flipping channels last night..."

You'll have to decide for yourself what counts as a "movie" if you have doubts.

Captain America.

Meh.

I watched "Insidious" at a friends house the other night. I had already seen it, though, so I'm not sure that counts.

Before that, I saw "Buck" at the Belcourt with a friend. I loved it.

And the day before that, I saw the last "Harry Potter" movie.

I don't think we've watched any movies at home lately... we've been too busy moving, cleaning, and trashing stuff.

By the by, I love "Adventures in Babysitting."

Sure. Last one you saw, regardless. Feel free to comment on it or whatever. I'm just being conversational.

I watched Glengarry Glen Ross last night. It was good enough and kept me interested although I'd have a hard time recommending it. It's one of those "stuff happens and then it stops" things that doesn't have a real pay-off if you didn't like the road to get there to begin with.

Bladerunner, on the order of my boss. I didn't get a joke, and around my office, that is a serious sin.

Turns out my husband had a bootlegged copy lying around so saved me a rental.

It wasn't very good. It had promise (if you like scary movies) right up until they pulled out the gas mask with the vacuum cleaner hose on it to talk to the spirit of the not-dead-yet boy. After that, they completely lost me.

Layer Cake, since I had ordered it from Netflix 8 months ago, and figure I may as well watch it before sending it back and canceling the DVD part of my subscription. Smiley: lol It was pretty good. Nothing terribly original about it, but solid casting and a good pace certainly made it enjoyable.

Battle: LA Decent enough I suppose, but with all of the recent alien invasion flicks, I was disappointed that there wasn't a lot of depth about the aliens.

13 assassins.

Not sure if it's still in theater in the states but it's been out in Japan for almost a year so easy to find a download version. Awesome movie.

I saw Cowboys & Aliens last weekend. It was enjoyable. Not really a technically good movie, but enjoyable. You just can't go wrong with Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, and Olivia Wilde.

While not a movie, the last thing I recall watching purposefully would be the first two season of Breaking Bad. I've got season three on deck for the next time it gets so stupidly hot out that I refuse to leave the house. If you really have to have a movie, the last one that I can think of is Transformers 3, which was better than I thought it would be, but that's not saying much.

In a theater: Harry Potter part 7 part 2.
DVD: Rango
BluRay: Sucker Punch
Netflix: old Voltron episodes 1,2,3
Torrent: new Thundercats episodes 1&2
TV: Shark Week.

That is all I've watched in the last few weeks.

Diminished Capacity

Nothing deep or award deserving, but it was a very enjoyable movie.

Last couple of films:

'Scott Pilgrim'
'The Informant!'
'Inception'
'Barney's Version'

Half of 'Point Break', the other half is on the DVR in my office to finish when I'm not busy.

I watched Crazy, Stupid Love on Sunday when my parents & sisters came to visit.

It was actually a good movie. Better than I was expecting, anyway.

I watched Crazy, Stupid, Love and I have to say it was pretty good. The humor and romance was expected but the twist hits you like a ton of bricks.

I watched Carriers this morning. I pretty much like post-apocalyptic, well, anything.

I did not like this movie.
