I forget what thread this was mentioned in, but I just finished this series and wanted to give it two thumbs up. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great pacing, a good story, and just the right amount of humor. 8.5/10.

Also, the second OP is now prominently featured in my animu playlist. It's funny because I actually just skipped it the first couple of episodes it showed up because the opening of the song is boring, but it's actually a really good song besides that.

So, took the liberty of watching this. Just finished season 1, and this show is all kinds of awesome. Cool and interesting characters, a good laugh, tons of action and a good story with proper pacing (may edit this out depending on the second season/final episode).
I've noticed it's become a trend, you guys suggesting good shows. Keep it up!

I thought the second season was better than the first.
My complaint with the first season was that it seemed they would occasionally cut out a full episode. For instance, in one episode the protagonist is completely clueless how to use his machina, but in the next episode, he's struttin' his stuff like he's a machina master and no one can stop him. Another example, I think it was at the end of the first season, someone suddenly mentions "The bad guy can't stand against Kurogane's gravity power!" and I was just at a loss because I watched every episode (I think) and never saw any mention or hint of gravity power before this point.
Anyway, other than that, I enjoyed the show.

I'll agree with that, though your main complaint is kind of answered in the 2nd season :P.

Finished the second show now. Liked it a lot! The story was detailed, every single character in the show is interesting and the pacing is just about perfect. Gave the second season a solid 10/10 on My Anime List, if only because this show didn't feel rushed at all.
