I am really sad that it doesn't look like Terriers will be coming back for a second season. Really, a fantastic show. I'm not exactly sure why it didn't garner decent ratings. It's one of FX's better offerings in recent years, IMO. Apparently, it's only been rating about 500k viewers on average, which is pretty poor. Maybe it's just tough to go up against L&O: SVU as a crime drama or something.

Anyway, Donal Logue is awesome, and I hope that somehow this show makes it a second season. At least if it doesn't, the season finale was good enough to be a series finale.

Every time I saw the previews for the show I couldn't help but think of Grounded for Life. And Logue's partner in the series looked like the guy that played his brother in that sitcom (imo).

I never watched it though, it usually came on well after I had already decided to go to bed.

Don't worry, they'll probably show the re-runs on Animal Planet.

Because it has a terrible name that gives no one any hint of what it's about or desire to watch it. I've heard of it a few times and still have no idea what it was about aside from the title reminding me of "Best In Show".

Not to say a show can't overcome a terrible title but that sure doesn't help it, especially on a basic cable channel.

Yeah, I just read that early ads for the show involved video of an angry dog, with no shots of the actual program. Smiley: lol
