So I just got my copy of Eden of the East on Blu-Ray and looking at the back, it has one of those square barcodes for scanning with phones in addition to the normal barcode. Below the barcode it says "Watch the trailer" and surprise, surprise, I scanned it with my phone and it brought up the trailer from youtube. Is this going to be the future of movies? This is the first new DVD I've bought in a while (released last month) and I don't go to the store often to make a comparison.

kind of a neat idea really. Would make picking out B-horror movies easier, to see if it is worth my cash.

I heard on the radio that "they" are trying to up the preview of music from 30 to 90sec saying it will promote people to buy the song if they can listen to more of it.

Ooo, 90 seconds would be much more useful than 30 seconds, given how much the mood/tempo/whatever shifts over the length of many songs.

Imagine picking 90s of Bohemian Rhapsody, let alone 30s of it!

Mood, nothing. Half the time, the first 30 seconds is filled with instrumental and you never get to hear any of the actual "song".
