So, I was watching TV with my mom the other day, and she was watching Supernatural. I figured i'd check it out, as i'd heard a friend about it before aswell.
Well, 3 weeks or so later, I actually went out and bought Season 1 on DVD. Man, I love this show. Any other people that watch it and have thoughts on it? Just curious to the overall opinion regarding the show, as i've found myself agreeing with plenty of things mentioned on this board.

I saw the first two seasons, and they kick *** 
I have the third sitting on my table awaiting our current NCIS hunger to die down.
It has the perfect blend of thriller/action/adventure to keep both my wife and myself entertained. The comic relief isn't bad either.
I used to hate thrillers, horror flicks, vampire, demon or zombie movies. But in a series format, with each issue resolved in a maximum of 2 or 3 episodes, I find myself enjoying them a lot.

I've watched all first 4 season avidly, and I'm waiting for the fifth one to come out in DVDs. :D
This is the best TV series ever, according to Galkaman. Sorry, I can't comment as I don't watch it. True Blood is great, though, if you like a story arc over an entire 12 episode season.

So, I finished Season 4 yesterday. Epic awesomesauce right there. Although there's not a series, be they manga, anime or live-action, that has made me THIS annoyed regarding cliffhangers.
SPOILERS SEASON 1, 2, 3 and 4!
Season 1: Are they safe? Probably. Truck! Car crash! Blood and stuff! Fade to black.
Season 2: Opening the gates to hell. That can't be good.
Season 3: Dean dies and gets stuck in hell. Wtf?
Season 4: Satan/Lucifer's seal gets broken, big bright flash, credits. WTF! No! No credits! The full season 5 package isn't available yet! Please don't!

It's like X-Files without the boring stuff.
Been watching a couple of episodes in a row this last week and it's really good. Was surprised about the amount of violence/gore in it, considering they're airing it in the afternoon here. One episode with a possessive ghost showed a guy get his hand messed up in a blender.
Anyway, it beats the hell out of Buffy and Angel and all that crap. No 10-minute fight scenes with cheesy roundhouse kicks and wall-jumping.

Except for some parts of season 3, it's gory, but not very convincing. I actually got the idea they had a budget cut in the graphical department during season 3. Gets better again after that, though.
One thing I like the most about the show is that it's not all traditionally styled monsters and ghosties. There's vampires and werewolves, but they're no more important than any other monster is.

This is one of my favorite TV series and I watch the first 2 seasons without interruption. Though sometimes the plot is a little bi disappointing to me, yet my love towa0rds it is still strong. Horror flicks, vampire and demon movies are now arousing my interesting more than ever.
