It would be quite helpful if you could describe your tastes or list some of the anime you have enjoyed, otherwise we can't be sure of your predilection.

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is spectacular.

We should get a sticky up in this forum with a list of anime by genre and similarities. Allegory, get to it!

Check out Samurai Gun and Trigun.

I'll recommend more later, but that's a good start.

You say you've seen them, but did you enjoy them? If yes, why; if no, why not?

If you liked FLCL (which aired on Adult Swim repeatedly, and for good reason), then check out Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann for bizarreness and awesomeness. Same studio that did FLCL.

If you want something (a lot) more violent, you might check out Berserk. Another personal favorite is Serial Experiments Lain. Mind-twisting, but I really enjoyed it.

Of course, if you want something just plain silly, there's One Piece (look for fansubs of the original Japanese version, not the mutilated version that showed up in the U.S.).

fudge?! Seriously, be gentle with him.

What adult swim usually airs and what you've listed are mainly action series. So let me give you a few action series that will probably suit your tastes. I apologize if you've seen any of these before.

Eureka 7 - Surfing mecha robots, less ridiculous than it sounds.
Gurren Lagann - Mecha robots that take their style and shove it down your throat, more ridiculous than it sounds.
Code Geass - Mecha Death Note, last mecha series I swear.
Fullmetal Alchemist - A 'magic' system that makes sense.
Claymore - Dark fantasy series full of monstrous characters.
FLCL - Short and sweet. Guitars are weapons.
Darker than Black - Interesting powers and costs.
Pumpkin Scissors - Lighter on plot, heavier on comedy.
Black Lagoon - Most realistic series in this list.

Adult Swim actually showed Shin-Chan for a while, so Vataro gets a point for that suggestion.

I really enjoyed Samurai Champloo, Hip hop mixed with Edo period Japanese goodness, has good fighting/action scenes, great slapstick comedy, and Mugen seriously Kicks a$$.

From Wikipedia
The series is a cross-genre work of media, blending the action and samurai genres with elements of slapstick comedy. It is also a period piece, taking place during Japan's Edo period. The series is interwoven with revisionist historical facts and anachronistic elements of mise-en-scene, dialogue and soundtrack. The series' most frequent anachronism is its use of elements of hip hop culture, particularly rap and the music it has influenced, break dancing, turntablism, hip hop slang, and graffiti. The show also contains anachronistic elements from the punk subculture and modernism, but less prominently.

I personally liked Love Hina. But if your not into love stories, you might want to avoid it.

Edit: I also forgot Fooly Cooly. Not really a love story per say, but amusing as hell half the time.

Edit2: Doh, I realized another one, School Rumble. Another love story, but filled with so much damn humor. Now that I think about it, besides the stuff shown on Adult Swim, I tend to favor the stuff that has some sort of love interest throughout it. -shrug- I guess sexual tension is always amusing to watch when people are clumsy. :D

You're not a proper action loving anime fan if you can't enjoy some Hajime No Ippo.

I dunno if Allegory is on this yet but I am in the process of putting something like this together for the Animu Manga club at my school seeing as I am the VP and stuff and felt like I should do something. I would be more than happy to post it here after it is done.

If you liked Serial Experiments: Lain then you should check out Texhnolyze. It manages to make even less sense.

Or just skip to the last episode of Neo Genesis Evangelion.
