Korra Book 3 Rumor-SpoilersFollow

Apparently someone in Nickelodeon Mexico screwed up and put episodes three through six on their servers, and some intrepid fans have obtained copies and subtitled them. I haven't watched these episodes myself, but I have a couple of key plot points that pop up every few seconds the thread pops up that catches my eye. No news when the episodes will be released, but I can't imagine it'll be too long from now. I've heard rumors of September, but yeah. Rumors.

Remember, this is just stuff I've skimmed over on threads dedicated to this topic, so not particularly reliable. There's a Combustion Girl, who is the girlfriend of an evil Air Bender. An armless Water Bender. Toph has another child from another father than Lin, who has a daughter named Opal. Mako's and Bolin's family. Ba Sing Se government still evil.

Over all the general consensuses is Book 3 is a pretty good season, but to be fair the biggest problem with Korra has been pacing and the end of season fiascos.

Wait. There's gonna be more Korra? I kinda expected it was over with the last one.

It was always slated for 3 books afaik. Obviously it had to be renewed for each season, but last I checked that was always the plan, same as the first series.

Yeah, apparently the whole season is already done and just waiting to be released. I think it was always scheduled, guess we'll see whether there will be another generation of Avatars after Korra.

I never finished season 2, it was getting me down.

Maybe this one will be better; it'd be pretty hard to be any worse.

I remember this being said after season 1 did so well.

I've yet to see season 2, waiting for it to hit DVD (July 1st, if amazon is not wrong). But yar, there was to be 3 books.

Any sign of Azula or her kin? I have a feeling I know what happened to her after the events of the comic, but I want to see if they add anything in the cartoon.

One week after a single trailer, no real advertising, and at a death slot. That doesn't bode well for the future.

Isn't this the same time slot it's been at for the last 2 seasons?

I remember Book 2 started at 0700pm and was bleeding viewers and moved to 0830pm which didn't help it much. Is it scheduled to be weekly at 0700pm, or just for the premier? The article doesn't really say anything about that.

0800pm-1000pm is the graveyard, for the record.

7pm for the premiere. Then 8 pm for the season.

(Article says that. Rest of season starts up after the 4th with the 8 pm time slot)

Looks like Korra is getting a game or two.

I'd like Korra to have a better time slot from the few tidbits I've managed to read from the spoiler threads, but not having seen them is making me antsy as I don't particularly trust the place I've read them. Is it Friday yet?

Random people are becoming air benders, including the non-Bender avatar offspring, Bumi.

4x baddies, one of each Fire, Water, Earth, and one non Bender. All jailed in prisons specifically designed to hold them. Fire Bender below the ice of the North, Water Bender suspended in a Volcano, Earth Bender on a ship in the middle of the ocean. The non bender stored high in the mountains, until he became an air bender, and breaks free, then proceeds to free the Earth Bender and Water Bender.

Water Bender is an armless woman, who uses the water as arms.

They haven't freed the Fire Bender yet. I'm curious if she's going to be Azula's offspring. Definitely seemed very Azula-ish to me. Would be pretty predictably so.

Earth Kingdom and the Dai Li, as corrupt and shady as ever. When will people ever learn...

The badguys seem to be pretty awesome. Definitely a step up from Amon. Especially digging Zaheer. He's like evil Uncle Iroh. And the lavabender was awesome. Up until remembering Combustion Girl I was having a hard time figuring out which type of bender he was. Guess I should have figured it out sooner, what with him being out in the water and in a wooden box. THOSE MAGGOTS WILL BOW TO ME! All hail the future Emperor Meelo, Conqueror of the Air Nation. That awkward elevator scene with Zuko had me chuckling. Called the kid a liar as soon as his little sob story ended. Jinora wants the D. Earth Kingdom always corrupt. Mad Max vs KorrAsami. Return of Lake Laogai. Going theory the dragon's name is Honor. Korra ruins everything. That feels with Gramma Mako and Bolin. A lot of the voice acting sounded ... off. Kind of wooden, and bored even. Lots of spoiler tags because they're annoying.

Not bad, but the show usually starts strong.
