Aleppo has also been the heart of the Syrian rebel movement for years, roughly akin of Benghazi during the Libyan civil war. This is stuff you might want to know if you're going to be president. And, just to point out the obvious, it doesn't matter whether or not I know it since I'm not the one looking to lead this country.

Johnson was asked who the leader of N. Korea was, claimed he knew but then refused to actually say Smiley: laugh

When he is not doped up on the Mary Jane he'll be a fine President cogently and pointedly. Well, except Libertarians are awful except for their positions on personal liberties. The longest internet arguments I've ever had were against Libertarians: AnCap, and others. All comfortable so far in their status. All immoral, selfish, and privileged (so far of whom I've met; guess there might be Libertarians on welfare or homeless. Haven't encountered them yet, gosh!) Libertarians I've debated also use the most "no true Scotsman" excuses of anyone ever so far, enhanced by the subsects of Libertarianism. Anarcho-Captialism? Mutualism? Objectivism? Who knows what a Libertarian believes when he/she could shift the goal-posts so far or chide you for not debating against the actual one of the 4000 subsets he/she clings to? Libertarianism is a cult. Libertarians own Gold Roller Skates and skate away from challenge. And don't give one tiny **** about poor people.

Only reason I'd vote for Johnson is to get 5% pop vote to a third-party (and his party is more likely than Stein's). So, may. Will not vote for Trump or Clinton to approve the further destruction and displacement of millions of brown people abroad, and destruction of black people in-country.

"a vote for" blah blah blah...stfu with such a response, orthodoxy. If the utterly awful Trump wins, then it's too bad you picked the also utterly awful Clinton to run against him. Not the fault of voters who refuse to vote for either of these awful candidates.

That's a cute belief. Of course, we'll never know.

Second debate was last night, and Trump apparently his previous claim of being less chivalrous towards Clinton meant he was going to fully embraced his need to be full on batshit crazy.

That debate was awful.

Trump lost but wasn't the complete flame-out many had hoped. That's probably worse for the GOP since (a) he didn't change his losing trajectory and (b) all the Republicans who abandoned him over the weekend and those who may have wanted to abandon him are kind of stuck. Clinton wasn't great but she wasn't bad either -- she was Clinton: lots of wonk, fairly unflappable, not exactly connecting with the hearts of America. Like the VP debate, it was one where the next couple days probably matter more as we get into discussing (and watching endless clips of) wanting to jail your opponent, "I don't know anything about Russia", the Trump/Pence schism, etc. Clinton didn't really do much worthy of discussion so that'll mainly be on Trump.

Speaker Ryan is saying he won't campaign for or defend Trump going forward and all GOP House members should focus on their own re-election campaigns and do what's best for them.

Seems safe to say that the GOP leadership was not impressed by last night's debate.

New NBC/WSJ poll gives Clinton an 11pt lead over Trump... in a 4-way race.

Somehow Trump supporters have found my daughter's Facebook page and are trying to defend his sexual assaulting women, there. I wanted to go full angry mother Bear on them, but didn't because I wasn't sure if my daughter would like me saying anything bout how she was raped by a man who ended up leaving the country to escape charges of child abuse. He was known for sexually abusing several young girls in the community, but police kept refusing to go after him until two other girls were abused after my daughter. Friends of a friend, who work for NSA kept track of him and let us know when he died in Japan.

I ended up saying that to vote for Trump was to say you are okay with raping women.

Who could have ever foreseen that something everyone knew was a bad idea would turn out to be a bad idea?

Or just report it and move on.

Speaking of obviously bad ideas, while Ryan might be finally re-realizing what a bad idea defending Trump is, a few people haven't quite caught up. According to Sen. Jeff Sessions, who happens to be a lawyer, says he's not so sure that kissing and grabbing women by the crotch without their consent is actually sexual assault.

Maybe he assumes that, if you do it softly enough, it's just sensual assault.

I was honestly surprised that Republicans thought this was an issue that would affect them down-ballot as it's pretty much par for the course. Were they just looking for an excuse to ditch Trump and didn't really care what it was?

Pretty much. If Trump was polling +7 instead of -11, none of those people would have blinked at what Trump said or did.

Ah, Trump voters have something in common with HRC after all.

You are refreshing after getting those Proxy errors, more than likely. When it does that, just close the page and reload the forums. Cause it still posts, it just fails to redirect you to the post. Then refreshing posts again, and again, and again, so on and so forth.

Kurt Eichenwald notices Russia falsely reporting on a Wikileaks document and, out of amazing coincidence (heh), Trump putting it into a speech.

This won't get 5% of the Pussy Tape coverage, of course.

Or Trump retaliating against Ryan, calling him a weak ineffective leader.

Obama just became my favorite president ever: President Obama Signs Babies Act, Mandates Baby Changing Stations Be Available To Dads Too.

All else is forgiven, now I won't have to wander around searching in vain just to be told the only changing tables are in the women's room. Having to change a ****-filled diaper in the back of the car will be a thing of the past now.
