The Treasury announced that the $10 bill, due for a redesign in 2020, will feature a woman in happy coincidence with the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment. Get your votes in now for who it should be (living persons are ineligible).

Hamilton will supposed "have a role" on the bill, perhaps either with two portraits, multiple bill designs or perhaps a design featuring Hamilton riding the woman around like a pony.

I say we coordinate an effort to get Delphine LaLaurie on that bill.

Let's see, it can't be a woman who actually accomplished anything, so not Margret Sanger. Has to be some sappy ********* because this is America, so probably some sort of pseudo martyr...but not Harriet Tubman because most of congress are currently racists...hmm...Jeannette Rankin? I kid, I kid. Obviously we can't have a pacifist on there. Man, the list of women that conservatives find appealing is so miniscule this is really hard. Ayn Rand, I guess? A nice tableau of her collecting welfare while cheating on her husband?

I'm betting it'll be either Pocahontas (the pretty version), Clara Barton (petite, white), or Betsy Ross (contemporaneous with Hamilton).

On the other hand, she's an affirmative action twofer. They might do it to get them both out of the way at once.

Maybe it'll be a Barbie doll!

Not one of the talking ones, though.

Why are we replacing Hamilton and not Jackson? Ironic that we have federal currency because of Hamilton but we're taking him off of it.

Anyway, someone suggested Frances Perkins, the first Secretary of Labor, appointed by FDR. She's dead, so there's that. She's the first woman to hold a cabinet position which is also the highest governmental position a woman has held thus far. And she supposedly was one of those liberal troublemakers. You know the kind, always looking to spend my hard earned money on stupid things like unemployment benefits, pensions for the elderly, welfare for the poor, safety in the workplace, child labor laws. What's the point in having kids if I can't send them out to work?

Being an uneducated sod I only first heard of her this morning. And she's white, so we can avoid having our glorious currency sullied by . . . those people.

I am not responsible for any of the views or opinions stated herein, this is all clearly the ravings of a certifiable lunatic.

Yeah, I was trying to say she was the first to hold a cabinet level position, and that she has held the highest governmental level (position) a woman has thus far held. It didn't come out that way though.
