Doctor Horrible's Sing-Along BlogFollow

This has been a thing that existed for quite a while and referenced all over the net but I did not watch it until tonight.

Wow. Just.......wow.

Going into it I assumed Capitan Tightpants Nathan Fillion's character would be the "hero", Doogie Dr Horrible would be an incorrigable villian and that Codex Penny would...well..survive, anyway.

I guess I should have remembered that characters you care about in a Joss Whedon producton die...badly.


Capt Hammer was immediately revealed as a douche, so there goes hope #1.

I started to identify with Dr H then inevitably switched to Penny what with the "Homeless Shelter" angle. In the end I went back to sympathizing with the Doctor as his character reminds me of myself at my worst (couple of decades ago, wise-asses).

So, yeah. I wish I would have seen this sooner.


10/10. Would watch again.
