Last Daily Show last night. Nice send off, watching Stewart nearly tear up for half the show was sad. Hopefully the writing staff stays about the same and Trevor can cover for the personality. World needs a show like that.

Yeah, Colbert's piece was great and it was nice to see everyone get credit and a send-off. The Goodfellas bit was great (maybe a bit long but, again, you gotta get everyone).
I guess Stewart and Cenac had some falling out that Cenac was recently publicly grousing about so I was half-surprised to see him but thought they handled it in a funny, awkward way.
Agreed about Trevor. I haven't watched the show much lately (just because I watch very little TV in general, rotting my brain on the computer instead) but the world needs watchmen watching the watchmen.

I guess Stewart and Cenac had some falling out that Cenac was recently publicly grousing about so I was half-surprised to see him but thought they handled it in a funny, awkward way.

That's not really fair. Kelly's ability as an intelligent woman to sell ginned up outrage is hard to come by. I mean look at the other cookie cutter blond puppets they trot out. Elisabeth Hasselbeck just appears to be rock ******* stupid. You can't really buy pretend outrage from someone who probably can't figure out traffic lights.

Amazon is having a sale of books by Stewart's various guests (Kindle versions). There's a lot of books there so I don't know if there's any stand-out great deals but have at it anyway.

Fox should make Lucifer animated. That way, instead of canceling it, they'll just drag its bones around season after season for eternity.
