Having said that, Hulk is a cool name. And so is Fred. He should really be working on a gay cruisehip in the Med.
Both are nicknames though, Hulk is actually named after the incredible hulk because he watched the show a lot as a kid and Fred is some sort of abbreviation of his full name.

That's true, Hulk's actually a serviceable center forward, but name aside he's probably a little small. The other great players are defenders, but, come on, they're really great defenders. There's a reason it seems like they're in transition every twenty seconds.

They are, and I guess we'll find out if one can win a WC without a midfield.

Man that Mexico goalie is playing out of his mind. He's going to get the attention of the league. Other people watched Blood of Heroes, right?

Phew, break time. Smiley: lol

Come to think of it Mexico's last game was pretty entertaining too; they have the best popcorn factor so far.

Smiley: popcorn

Not so much the ankle as getting stomped by cleats.

Sombrero and luchador mask. Nice.

Mexico's new national hero.

He was playing for Ajaccio last year, in lowly ligue 1.

Jo meanwhile is arguably the worst striker to ever wear the brazil shirt.

Yeah, you may have a point, that was pretty weak.

He was bumbling along in some mediocre premier league teams a few seasons ago, and he was so bad I used to look forward seeing him on match of the day. So, yeah, not a vintage year for brazilian strikers, which is why Diego Costa gets booed so solidly every time he touches the ball.

Well that and he's a c*nt.

He's going to have a lot more people looking at his performances after today, he's making some great saves.

Probably one good game, but if he keeps it up this is a life changing tournament for him.

Five minutes and less drama than the last game. I'm liking the Netherlands so far.

The Dutch are off to an awfully slow start, lots of inaccuracy and lots of clumsiness so far.
