I am anxiously awaiting delivery of my new PC which I'm afraid may be arriving on Moday or Tuesday and not tomorrow. I'll probably waste some time watching Magic on twitch until then.

No big plans except it's supposed to be around 70 this weekend so I guess it'll be post-winter yard cleanup and trips to the park/wagon rides for the little guy. You ever give a three year old one of those big $2.99 yard balls they sell at Walmart or Target? Good times.

No, but now I have to awful urge to... Meh, scratch that, they'd just complain that it's "broken" and ask me to roll it back up into a ball again. Smiley: lol

I need to do something that involves sleeping, but that's as optimistic and I am at the moment. I'll try and find something for the little ones to do Saturday (barring the ball-o-yarn thing), and get them outside. Maybe the zoo? We can head down to the river again I guess. Walk to the park up the road? We'll see; anything drastic means I have to get everyone up and dressed on a Saturday morning, and that may be beyond what I have the willpower to do.

My husband has been out of town for nearly a fortnight. I've been painting our entryway (smallish room with lots of doors). I'm nearly done with the painting part - just have baseboards and touch up. Then I need to put stuff on the walls - that's the hard part.

I want to do some creative DIY project to jazz up the switch-plates before I put them back on. My creative endeavors don't usually turn out too well. Tuesday is my deadline.

I've continued to wear my winter coat going out each day despite the rumors about spring time. Today it was truly overkill. Smiley: smile The yard is still too snowy and sloppy for clean up, but hopefully I'll get my butt outside some over the weekend.

I've got some home maintenance to take care of, and help move some winter clothes out of the closets and switch them with spring/summer attire so I'll be moving stuff into and out of our storage space most of the time.

Then I plan to watch Frozen.

It's Pirate Weekend in Fells Point, so I may dress up some and go tomorrow, if I feel up to taking the bus down town in costume. Events like this are no fun dress in Muggle clothes.

Sunday I'm going up to Darlington Md for the April Md Faerie Festival Volunteer meeting, to help paint signs and leaves that we will give out at the end of the Un-Seelie Queen's Quest. The Md Faerie Festival is Mothers Day weekend and I get to play the part of the Queen Mother in the Un-Seelie Court. It's a fun job of sitting in the Pavilion and greeting the visitors and asking them if they have come on the Queen's Quest. Then making sure they are each piece of the puzzle, I will give them a leaf to take home with them. They are made out of polymer clay by Faerie Volunteers of course.

I also have to make sure I get some time practicing my driving for taking my driver's test this month.

Starting a second beer this weekend, and starting drinking on the previous one. Friend of mine wants to submit a couple to the fair this year, so hopefully we don't end out dorking them up too badly.

Gonna try to get some EQ playing in. Other than that, the usual errands and whatnot. Oh. And I should probably do my taxes at some point.

Pay attention to when you tell us about defrauding the government? Well, yeah.

First off, I was joking. Secondly, if by "defrauding the government", you mean having the IRS think you earned more money than you did because your brokerage firm double reported a sale, claim you owned them back taxes because of this, filing additional paperwork showing that it was an error in the reporting and not in the filing, having the IRS basically say "pay us what we think you owe us anyway", paying them, then waiting a year and a half for them to process the correction, realize that you did actually pay the correct amount in the first place, and then pay you the difference (with interest, which they promptly made sure to issue a 1099 for), yeah... I "defrauded the government".

I get that I may not have explained what happened super clearly the first time, and folks desires to leap on the "gbaji doesn't pay his fair share!" angle tended to overpower any explanations I could make after the fact, but at no point *ever* did I defraud anyone. It was a mistake made (I'm reasonably certain) by a brokerage firm I had at the time, which caused a series of events to occur which ultimately caused me to have to massively overpay the government (to the tune of $100k) just to get them to stop trying to seize assets of mine, whilst they straightened the whole thing out. In the end, I was able to prove that the mistake was not on my end, and that I had paid the correct amount. Cause they paid me all the money back, with interest.

When you defraud the IRS, they tend to put you in jail, not write you a $102k check.
